Definitely don't need to run SLI or crossfire for crysis. Perfomance gains from having 2 instead of 1 is not worth the price of another video card unless you have spare $$$ to burn. Old system can still run crysis with low/medium settings depending the resolution and I think if you get anything around 30 fps, it's playable.

Crysis is an overrated game anyways >.>

Wow, looks like my computer could even handle that! But I'm not planning on buying Crysis, don't like that kind of games.

And yes, I use a shitty prebuild. Now I want to try if it works on mine. T_T

I am sure your computer can handle it, however, you can only play on medium settings depending on your screen resolution. As long as you get around 30fps, it should be playable (for me at least).

You can just download it from torrent if you don't want to buy it XD

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 2.33 GhZ
Graphics: XFX Nvidia GeForce 8500
RAM: 2 GB
Software: Windows Vista: Business (DX10)

So far, I can run it at low settings. Anyone have any suggestions? I haven't tried overclocking yet cause I want that to be my last resort. Do you think I'd be able to play @ medium / high settings if I went SLI with another 8500 card?

You need a video card with at least 256mb memory to run the game on low to medium video settings but if you want to run the game with high video settings then I would recommend you get one with around 768mb to 1536mb memory(2 758mb, but you'll need a motherboard that supports 2 video cards). Other than that, your ram and processor is good to go.

Don't get another 8500 whatever you do, you would get much more of a performance gain just by upgrading to a single 8800gts 320mb or even for not much more money an 8800gt (almost as good as a GTX but for a lot less money) which will get you up to high or even very high settings at a reasonable resolution.
