The weirdest awkward silence moment for me would have to be on the last day of school last year. The kid across the room for me (glad it was across the room) decided to fart for 30 seconds straight. There was silence the rest of the class.

I just try to keep the conversation going by talking about different things.
Unless I'm uncomfortable then I just make up an excuse and leave promptly.

when theirs an akward silence, i ussualy point it out and say "haha awkward silence :P"
then the other person will ussualy laugh, so if theres another akward silence youll laugh at it lol.

Lol I've become all but immune to awkwardness. I don't feel the emotion much anymore because.. Well it's just sort of worn off because I've been in so many awkward situations  .
Lol the last awkward situation I had..... Dang I don't really remember....
Usually I get them when I find something out about someone (something embarrassing) and then they find out that I know and... Well the next time we see each other lol...
BUT when they happen, I either laugh it off, or change the subject ^^ |

I just think of the famous words of SHINee leader Onew "When the situation is awkward say LA!!!" I tried once and my friends looked at me like I was crazy XD!!! But it got the situation started again.
