I would have to say the game is still rougher & bloodier than the really old days-- 1960's-- Back then is was a thrill to see a fight during the game, but it more like a breather from the game as diversionary entertainment, & the consequence was usually a bloody nose. We could always count on Bobby Orr for a fight when he came to town. Seems like these days it's broken jaws, fractured skulls & unfortunately, even the very worst result of violence. Well, I don't like Boxing or Ultimate Fighting, either..............
