It's interesting to see Britain being portrayed in light of the ancient Roman Empire. Nevertheless, English has already made its way as 'the international language' so I presume the actual grip UK has on the world is more on the soft capital side. Nevertheless, OLD SPOILER TIME I cringed when Zero declared the "United States of Japan"... what was that supposed to mean?! It freaks me out! I was watching happily... that was, until he said the offending line. :fury: This series can have a lot of little side story arcs since the main characters have their backgrounds well thought of - instead of being some straightforward pro/anti figures. I hope the second season will have this sort of depth built into the story, and I'm keen to learn more about Lelouch's old man. Ah, the story of a sprawling dysfunctional royalty family ^.^;

Unless he finds some kick ass power on that island and comes back and saves the day. Though i am so happy that he and C.C finally kissed, that better no just be a one time thing. They better work on that relationship even more. Especially since it looks like lelouch and Kallen is far gone by the way she was freaking out. Ahh why is it in 3 months, right when my HSC starts. Thats so evil.
