simo is partially right. My use of the tower is mostly metaphorical. You cannot get to where the tower led via rocket. To me, the tower represents the pinnacle of human unity, solidarity and boldness, hence it is my metaphor.

Albeit that was not the main point of it, I still think the current image is the best. Eschers's tower is considerably more crude and less enticing, the focus is on the drama of it rather than the actual structure, and it presents a bird's eye view: meaning that my statement was about seeing the view was meaningless. The tower I used is more majestic and mysterious... but again, not the main point.
