What do you think about the topic Death?
Posted 10/5/06
we are all alive but for what purpose..... i think we all just try do accomplish what we can in the short time we have..and after our time is up we die and it is something that should be accepted we all are born knowing we have an alloted time to be on this earth and i dont know people should fear it...now as to what happens to us when we die i still have no idea and really neither does anyone else...but i doubt its as bad as hell or as pleasant as heaven

i hope the after life is a ironic punishment to almost every body like the after life for someone is a waiting room some one calls the persons name then that person goes into another door and guess what its another waiting room

Yes I do thank you.

satin is scarier than satan.

satin: along with silk, its the choice fabric of women trying to make-over your bachelor pad.
satan: hell just sing about wanting to live on earth, and try to find a lover to replace sadam

I do not fear death. Now of course, this can only be proven when I encounter the possibility of diying directly, but when you think about it, I should not fear death because when I exist, death does not, and when Death comes into existence, I no longer exist.

I also think that fear of death, does not let you to live your life to its fullest. in other words, everyone dies and people try to deny it to themselves, but not everyone really lives.

We live by our actions, our passions, and by being truly aware of ourselves. We do not live by our number of years. I think that if I live this way, my "soul" will always remain young. Age wrinkles the body, but quitting wrinkles your soul.

It is very profound.
I agree and I think what Im about to say goes without sayin...but there is restraint to your freedom and choice to live even with no fear of death right? I mean... I wouldn't go dky diving as fun as it sounds because the risk I think is too high...or at least thats how I feel. As much as I've dreamed of doing stuff that people do on those urban ninja videos, I sure as hell am not jumping off the second floor of a mall and running across the support beam. Most of all, I still fear death. This fear has no control over my life, but places restraint to make it last longer. Sometimes, only vertain things can be achieved with time. Time I'll use to live. Sometimes its great to live because something less extreme and just sit in front of the computer and discuss among anonymous friends...

Well death is an inevitability but For any Christians out there, if you really believe in God and his word the bible you can clearly see that the dead are concious of nothing at all and we as humans do not have an immortal soul but infact we are living souls( note the fact that we ARE souls we do not HAVE souls and if you believe in bible teachings you will also see theat souls die Hence NOT IMMORTAL. and what would be the point in being resarected if your soul is in heaven just to come back to earth. dosent make sence does it. but i digress. i do fear death but it is not a morbid fear because it is inevitable.

Meh.. I've seen death first hand and basically I stopped caring. If your wondering I saw a friend get hit by a car right in front of me when I was 11 she died. I knew what death was before that As appose to a 5 year old asking why grandparents were sleeping.

I honostly think its scarier when someone close to you dies then when you die. I've been on the verge of death and the first thing I thought about was my friend who was driving. He was fine and now so am I (if your wondering). Life is life and death is death you can't change what will happen and you can't change what has happened.

And thats why I think death is nothing to be afraid of.... Shit happens People die.
