Court bans death penalty for child rape
Posted 6/25/08 , edited 6/25/08
The Supreme Court declared Wednesday that executions are too severe a punishment for raping children, despite the "years of long anguish" for victims, in a ruling that restricts the death penalty to murder and crimes against the state.

Basically, they've told victims of child rape that they could care less about those who victimized them.

Child rapists destroy any hope the victimized children have of living a normal life; they have, in effect, taken away the life of their victims as effectively as one who literally murders them.

Isn't it sad to see the Supreme Court defending these sick bastards who willingly abuse children for their own twisted pleasure?

what a coincidence? i was just watching that in aljazeera today. yeah it is sad to see. btw, did the child die? maybe its because she didn't die that they didn't put him in death penalty. either way its very unfair to that child.

Whats the difference between Child and Adult rape anyway? Hmm? It doesn't matter if its a child or an adult because both ways, your life's screwd up, you probably contracted STD's from the sick bastard and probably will have nightmares for your whole life and will never be able to trust the gender your rapist was anymore.

Meh, sounds like another sick topic Shelly would be good at answering

it was a terrible decision. i have no doubt the court next intends to ban the death penalty outright if it gets the chance.

Hmmmm yeah i feel your point, i think there should be an age limit thing, like if they are under 35 then no death penalty, becasue they do have a time to reform their life, and why ruin two lives... and if they are over that age, then its to late for them...

Though personally i would rather die than have a life sentence without parole.

i think it doesnt matter whether it happened before puberty of after puberty... the result is still the same cos the child will have to face with the nightmare... it stick wif them the whole life n the child still have a long way to go in life..
