I do anything that can be done with hand tools and an air compressor. includes body, motor, suspension etc.

I drive a DSM and if you guys heard of these cars, they break a lot so I have to be "self-mechanic."

do alot of thing, i am a self mechanic, have been for over 7 years, swap motors, suspension work, i can do most basic things that dont require boreing or porting and polishing motors.

Nope, not really, i know the basics...fluid changes, (oil, tranny, etc)...i've done a few ntecs and wielded some exhaust, shocks and lifts, and help swaped some engines, thats about it, every guy should be able to do that stuff, use the internet...helps alot, and saves tons of bucks

well, i could do tune-up on car.

i can switch wheels,lol.

and that's about it,lol...wait naw, i can paint car, i can weld probably on car.

and well, i can probably do the basic brake service...but that's about it.

gonna try to replace clutch on my car, hope i don't f-up,lol.

Make sure you use Loctite on the clutch bolts. The last thing you want is your clutch coming losing while driving. Also make sure you drive 500 city miles without going over 3000 rpms in order to break the clutch in. Good luck with your clutch.

I used to wrk on my own cars, change the mags and doors of different cars as well as buy spray and re - spray hahaha way back when I was a kid ... I now don't bother that much with real cars. Used to help my cousin and uncle modify there engine and rebuilding there engines allot but I lost interest in it + it's a dirty job lol

well unfortunately I don't have anyone that I know that can teach me that stuff =/ I was just wondering i maybe they teach you that sorta stuff in junior colleges where I can take some night time classes, but I doubt they'd teach you how to install turbos and stuff, would they?

im pretty sure itt colleges do, but idk about junior colleges haha, ask rev, he might know.
easy way to learn about these things, books haha, go to barnes and noble and look at some of the books they have in the automotive section, some good stuff there.
