No I wouldn't. But I mean even if someone did kill him, when he was a child someone else could have done the exact same thing.

I doubt anyone was as anti-sematic as he was back then

I was just being theoretical. Yes i also doubt there was anyone as anti-semetic back then. I was just saying that it could have happened. I mean if say you managed to go back in time and strangle Hitler when he was a kid who is to say that someone else might do something similar? In which case the history textbooks would have someone else's name.

I remember studying the other candidates for the election and I THINK if I remember correctly, Hitler was the only person in his political party that ran for office.

actually there already would have been a WWI, hitler wasn't the cause of that one. If there was no WWII, then there wouldn't have been a cold war, and hey there might not have even been a 9/11

ehh, i see that you roughly get the idea la. plus if there was no cold war, no 9/11, etc. its good cos lesser victims and all. but then no lesson learnt :/
actually, basically everything happens for a reason. so i guess, even if we were to turn back the time, the same events would probably have happened. that's how i feel.

I agree with love-starrs. If Hitler were to be killed and say there was no world WWII. We would probably be much worse off. You would potentially have 6 super powers and each of those powers wanting to have control. Can you imagine 6 United States? I'm from the US but I feel we get involved in things that shouldn't concern us.

Indeed. I just was trying to point out that if you killed hitler at an early age then someone else would have had to run for office due to the fact that hitler wouldn't have been present.

O.o 6 super powers. man, that's scary. i can imagine the power struggle and how other countries would either take the chance to attack or they would be involved somehow or another. then i guess even without the former WWII, this would be the WWII instead. something like that.

For some reasons, I remember Higurashi. We'll change our fate, by killing Hitler. Ahaha, but I'll say no. Even if I can go back time, I'll not kill Hitler. Maybe there will be a greater consequence if I do that.

err. okay. that's a tough question. hmm. if say there wasnt hitler's incident..
no WW1 and WW2, then many countries wouldnt have advanced as fast?
erm. you may argue that then the world wouldnt have suffered and all.
but if say without the lessons learnt from all the incidents, then no current now.
get what i'm trying to say?

Hey, I would like to contribute to your answer

But first let's make it clear to people that Hitler was responsible for WW2 and NOT WW1, along with Japan. Those who thought that Hitler was in WW1, please get your facts straight!

Anyways, in WW2, new war strategies and tactics, as well as new and improved weapons were introduced. Below are some examples:

Aside from those fun stuffs (maybe a little destructive ), WW2 also, in many ways, affected many countries in the world, especially the US and the European countries. Below are examples of some positive effects of WW2:

As for my opinion on whether I would kill Hitler if I had the chance, the answer is "No, I wouldn't". Hitler was originally a great man, and his motivation of starting the war was not a selfish one. He was, however, blinded by power, which made him "turned" into the wrong path. If you spend sometime research on the Germans' lives the time, you know, after WW1, you would understand why Hitler chose to do what he did, and why he has the support of the German people.

It was really terrible, you know, the lives of the Germans when Hitler was still a young man was ten times more terrible than today's prisoners. Imagine that.

NATO is a joke. Right now the US pretty much runs the world, military wise. If there were six countries that were super powers lets say China,Russia, Germany, Japan, US, and GB. The other countries in the world would most likely side with one of the six countries therefore you would have always have some sort of tension when someone doesn't get their way.

Take the whats going on right now for instance. US is in Iraq for what I believe to be the oil. The other countries wouldn't stand for that. I don't know its just a thought
