err. okay. that's a tough question. hmm. if say there wasnt hitler's incident..
no WW1 and WW2, then many countries wouldnt have advanced as fast?
erm. you may argue that then the world wouldnt have suffered and all.
but if say without the lessons learnt from all the incidents, then no current now.
get what i'm trying to say?

Hey, I would like to contribute to your answer

But first let's make it clear to people that Hitler was responsible for WW2 and NOT WW1, along with Japan. Those who thought that Hitler was in WW1, please get your facts straight!

Anyways, in WW2, new war strategies and tactics, as well as new and improved weapons were introduced. Below are some examples:

Aside from those fun stuffs (maybe a little destructive ), WW2 also, in many ways, affected many countries in the world, especially the US and the European countries. Below are examples of some positive effects of WW2:

As for my opinion on whether I would kill Hitler if I had the chance, the answer is "No, I wouldn't". Hitler was originally a great man, and his motivation of starting the war was not a selfish one. He was, however, blinded by power, which made him "turned" into the wrong path. If you spend sometime research on the Germans' lives the time, you know, after WW1, you would understand why Hitler chose to do what he did, and why he has the support of the German people.

It was really terrible, you know, the lives of the Germans when Hitler was still a young man was ten times more terrible than today's prisoners. Imagine that.

hmm. the info was great. thanks (: and i wasnt talking about hitler being the cause and all :/ i was referring to them more as incidents instead. yupps. more of like if those incidents didnt happen then ... ... yeah. sorry if i caused misunderstandings and all :/

not just screwed. TOTALLY SCREWED -.- sighs. but i guess that's the advancement of the world now yeah? hmm. imagine nuclear in singapore -.- singapore would just totally sink la. gosh. GRR.

Do you know how many nukes it takes to blow up the earth?

40-50

Do you know how many nukes the U.S has in possession right now?

umm about four thousand

I heard that you only had to nuke about 10 different places at the same time....and the earth would blow up....
you don have to even use 40-50... of them...!!

actually there already would have been a WWI, hitler wasn't the cause of that one. If there was no WWII, then there wouldn't have been a cold war, and hey there might not have even been a 9/11

ehh, i see that you roughly get the idea la. plus if there was no cold war, no 9/11, etc. its good cos lesser victims and all. but then no lesson learnt :/
actually, basically everything happens for a reason. so i guess, even if we were to turn back the time, the same events would probably have happened. that's how i feel.

I agree with love-starrs. If Hitler were to be killed and say there was no world WWII. We would probably be much worse off. You would potentially have 6 super powers and each of those powers wanting to have control. Can you imagine 6 United States? I'm from the US but I feel we get involved in things that shouldn't concern us.

not unless something like NATO was created

NATO is a joke. Right now the US pretty much runs the world, military wise. If there were six countries that were super powers lets say China,Russia, Germany, Japan, US, and GB. The other countries in the world would most likely side with one of the six countries therefore you would have always have some sort of tension when someone doesn't get their way.

Take the whats going on right now for instance. US is in Iraq for what I believe to be the oil. The other countries wouldn't stand for that. I don't know its just a thought

not unless those six countries form a treaty with eachother

and btw it would be impossible for japan to be a world power because they have almost no natural resources

or how about you duct tape all of em together to make one huge super nuke. Now it only takes one nuke to destroy the world! xD

I only included them because of the rough time they gave the US in WWII. I was also thinking maybe Australia or France.

As for Treaties, they can be broken.

actualy Hitler WAS in WWI but as a messanger boy

EDIT: and actually hitler had anti-sematic feelings before he rose to power. His book Mein kampf proves it

Hmm...I am aware of the fact that he was a runner boy in WW1 and was known for his bravery but what the heck! He had anti-sematic feelings before he rose to power? Now that's a surprise for me...which kind of changed my view of him haha

I think I read somewhere that Hitler hated soup. During WWI he got up off his log and decided to have some soup because he had been running messages all day. Right as he was pouring soup in his bowl, a mortar round hit the log that he was sitting on.

I wonder if that's true
