Ah, I'm quite excited for Diablo III. Just seeing the logo and videos of it on youtube brings me back to when I played Diablo II for hours and hours. OTL

I got into the beta and from what it looks like they have a long way until it's finished. But they are getting rushed to get it to the stores so launch is going to be patched alot through out the first month.

The game is stable and for the most part complete. Right now Blizzard is working on things like balancing the character classes and tweaking things that don't work quite right. But as far as content, I'm pretty sure that's mostly done by now. No release date yet though, but a new patch tweaking the skill system is coming out today.

If anything, I can guarantee it'll be stable. I've been playing the beta the past two weeks with no sort of loss of connection or anything like that. One reason Blizzard's giving out all these beta keys is to test out the server loads, to be sure they can take the strain when the game is released.

As far as waiting for it to be cheaper, you'll be waiting a while. Starcraft 2 was released 2 years ago, and it still sells for about the same price as it did on release day. Diablo 3 will be the same.

I played beta...it looks pretty good so far.
but games changed and gamed will never be like D2 again
