I only like playing with my friends. Haha. It gets boring when I'm playing by myself. Strangers aren't fun sometimes too because they don't want to talk or they don't want to explore.

I love the game so much.
I wasn't planning on buying this game till the end of Summer but a friend of mine ended up giving me a Demo key and rite after I beat the Skeleton King and couldn't play any further I just needed to buy the game... so I did.. xD

I'm already on my Inferno run with my Barbarian. The game is super addicting and the randomly generated dungeons make that game different enough each time you play through to make you want to come back day after day.

I have a feeling that this game will be my 2012 GOTY 10/10

I am pretty bored with the game at this point TBH:( , I really hope they add PVP or more PVE content. I find myself primarily spending my time briefly in the AH these days then signing off.

I am completely disappointed, it feels dumbed down and short, and I don't really have any interest in continuing to play. I can't even muster the suspension of disbelief to get into the corny story. Even if I did, I am certainly not going to give people real money for in game items that randomly drop some tiny fraction of the time, it feels like cheating and only diminishes an already inferior game.

When they nerfed IAS and increased the cost for damaged gear AND made it stupid hard to farm gold now, yeah... They basically are pushing people hard to use real money to get into the RMAH. I uninstalled after I saw when I died 4 times in inferno that it was over 40k to fix my stuff, instead of the nice 7k+ that it used to be. The bosses are not that much easier and overall I just wish they would not force people to do things that they do not want to do.

I beat it all the way up to Act II on Inferno, so I am happy with that. I know how the story ends and got my monies worth out of it.

I was lucky enough to have a friend buy it for me as a graduation present. <3 I never got to play the first two games.

I've played through once as a monk (which I lurved) and I was kind of shocked when it was over so suddenly and I had many questions remaining regarding the storyline. Being brand-new to Diablo, I have to wonder if the expansion packs will extend the storyline significantly, or if we'll have to wait until a potential D4 comes out. I realize just how long the period was between D2 and D3... I know that playing it through on different difficulties, trying to attain all the achievements, and getting to Whimsyshire are what Blizzard is trying to use to lengthen the replay of the game. That's cool in its own way and I am something of an achievement whore...

There are multiple complaints on forums about the replay-ability of the game in higher difficulties. I see what Blizzard is trying to do, and while it's not impossible to ignore the AH and do your own thing, it is a little challenging. I was shocked at how easily my monk was dying when I played on Nightmare in Act 1 and how high the costs of repairing armor was already getting. I was saddened to see the truth in the complaints.

However, I'm going to try and party up with people who want to farm and explore. Most of my friends who play have slow connections or aren't on when I am. When I played MMO's before like City of Heroes, WoW, and Guild Wars - I had trouble partying. It's hard to find a good fit for party members with complete strangers and it gets frustrating joining with players who aren't patient, communicative, only want to do their own thing, aggro targets early, or aren't even moderately polite. It sucks the fun out of the game, you know? There seem to be a lot of these types of players out there. Or perhaps I just have bad luck?

The NPC followers you gain during your first play through are awesome and a big help in the first difficulty - but they become less so (in my opinion) as the difficulties get higher. This is probably intentional on Blizzard's part to get you to party with other players. Which is nice, but it's also nice to be able to play the game alone, know what I mean? So you have to grind your character into higher levels to compensate for the NPC backup you get. Yeah, they level up too, but they're not always terribly effective and sometimes they're cumbersome to have along - almost like you're babysitting.

Overall, I give D3 a 8 1/2 out of 10. I really enjoyed the game but it does have some drawbacks. I loved the dialogue with all the NPCs and voice acting - though I noticed some of the NPCs were the same voice actor. My wish was that the game and storyline was longer. Not that I'm an expert on games or anything, this is just my personal opinion.

I think maybe sometime I'll purchase D1 and D2...

People still play this game? It is old as of now. best way to play it is to have 3 or more computers in the same room playing together. stimulants can aid when playing but not good for ones health.

Always online DRM, the Real Money Auction House, horrible nerfing of skills and attributes, continuous hot "fixes" that make the game worse with each release, Blizzard/Activision are the greediest pieces of shit ever to infect the gaming industry and make it so obvious that they want constant cash income in this abomination ever to piss all over the once-good Diablo franchise.

I played it the first day it was out and only a few days after that, I saw what they were doing (I admit I had my eyes covered through most of the time spent playing it when not getting the infamous login errors) and never attempted to play this thing ever again.

I'll take Diablo II: Lord of Destruction over this any day. Doesn't matter if they release an expansion and what it has, unless maybe they take away the always-online bullshit, and bring back the skill/attribute trees. Which won't happen.

So having said that, I do not think this is a good game.

I was left completely disinterested in playing the game to be honest. I enjoyed playing the first two in the series more.
