Ok so what do you prefer.

Samurai ---

A Samurai is a vassal or retainer to a feudal lord or "Daimyo" in which they also function as the militant officers in combat. Contrary to popular belief, the Samurai often uses the bow from afar and when he gets close he uses a spear until that shatters or is disarmed. The sword (until the Edo period when there were no wars until the Bakumatsu) was only a side-arm to them. Something for backup when they have nothing else. If they lose their sword, they fight armed with Jujutsu [Which I am an instructor of.] which can be used to disarm an armed opponent, throw them to the ground and kill them with bare hands. Also, the sword these armored samurai use is not a katana, it is a tachi.
They are a militant [warrior] class.

or

Ninja ---

Ninja or "Shinobi no mono" are those employed as spies to listen in on enemy plans. During the Sengoku jidai [Civil War Period] of Japan, they became more specialized. Certain schools popped up showing techniques of espionage, infiltration, and disguise-wearing. To the dismay of many, the ninja hardly ever used stealth to obtain entry. They rather used deciet in that they dressed as a servant or a beggar monk or various other commonfolk as ones who are mostly ignored, they gained access easily. Contrary to popular belief they never functioned as assassins as the shikaku or later hitokiri were.

Really? I like both, Samurai's probably a little more. Ninja's arent really true Warriors though what they do is really cool.

Yes, it does, I acknowledge that, but killing someone who can't defend properly is against what I believe
