Effie raised her eyebrows at the fox in surprise, not expecting to be threatened--yet again. She dropped the cigar in the snow, melting a hole in it before she stomped on it with the heel of her boot. She didn't particularly want to start any fights at this point, even if it would be with injured foxes. "Sorry," she said, not feeling sorry at all, but saying it so she would seem more sorry then she was. "Habit. Hard to break. Not really trying to break it anyways." She twirled a strand of her red hair around her finger instead. "So, what exactly brings you two out here in the lonely forest of... loneliness."

Deep in the forest of loneliness, a girl could be seen fighting a blue figure. The figure was not human, it was not even alive! It was merely a practice dummy that the girl had made for a warm up hand-to-hand combat. She had been practicing endlessly today with magic and combat, yet she was not satisified with herself yet. She kept moving, controlling the figure with her mind, and trying to attack it at the same time, a battle that could be endless if the girl wanted it to be. 'Ok, it's time to deal the final blow! I will not screw it up this time!!!! ' she thought. Her timing was a bit off today,so each time she tried to deal the final blow she was a fraction of a second late, making her even more determined to get it the next time. 'Ready! 3, 2, 1-' she was in midstrike when she heard a gunshot. Suprised, she stumbled and fell to the ground, screwing up her attack for the 10th time today. "WHO SHOT THAT FREAKING GUN?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!" she screamed. "I SWEAR I'LL KILL WHOEVER DARED TO DISRUPT MY TRAINING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!". She went off into one of her rampages that happened occasionally when someone disrrupted her practices, cursing whoever shot that gun. When she calmed down, she made her practice dummy disappear and went in the direction that she had heard the gunshot. "Come on Snow! We're going to go see who shot that stupid gun," she said as a little snow white cat came out of the deep brush to accompany her owner. The two friends, cat and girl, walked out of the clearing and into the forest to go find the person who had disturbed their wonderful day. Snow led, her sense of hearing much better than the girl's, and brought them both to a scene that they didn't expect to find. A man with a gun pointing it at a wounded fox, and a woman smoking a cigar talking to both the fox and the man. 'What the heck are they doing?' she asked herself. The girl and the cat just sat there, peeking out of the brush of the forest, waiting to see what this strange group would do next.

Nauz walked through the cold, lonely, forest, looking for a village. Until she came to a stop, hearing voices.
She smiled evilly as she peered round the thin tree she desired to conceal herself behind.
Two men...well to be precise, a man and a boy. The man stood tall with heavy wrappings of fur upon his broad shoulders. The boy, however, was crouched petting a golden wolf, with tawny eyes.
Nauz stepped out and gracefully walked upon the snow, leaving no tracks, as her delicate feet led her to the boy.
The man noticed her instantly, seeing her at the edge of his striking blue eyes,"Who approaches me so quietly?"
"No one," Nauz calmly replied,"I approach the boy."
The man lifted a bow with an arrow upon it.
"Do you mean to threaten me, sir?" Nauz said, amused.
"Go no closer to my boy, witch," the man said firmly.
Nauz laughed,"A witch? What an insult for I am much more."
The boy stood slowly, staring at Nauz in awe.
"And what be your name?" Nauz asked softly.
"Do not answer-" but the man was interrupted.
"Rowen, ma'am," the boy answered.
"Perfect," Nauz said, "now both of you. Bow."
The man shifted and aimed for her heart.
"What heart do you aim for, man, for I have none," Nauz said, setting her eyes upon the man.
Then he was instantly powerless. He dropped the bow and fell to his knees.
Nauz knelt by the wolf, looking at the boy,"Do you wish for me to show you a trick?"
"Yes," Rowen whispered.
Nauz then gently grasped the sides of the wolf's head and twisted it upside down. The boy gasped in horror and stumped backward.
Nauz stood, smiling. The wolf fell, snow unsettling. Nauz drank in the boy's fear.
"Daddy," Rowen whispered, for it was all he could do,"Father."
"I shall let you go, Rowen," Nauz said carelessly. "Go."
Rowen stood and ran, but before he got far, Nauz waved her hand and the boy went high into the air and crashed into a tree. One of the sharp, hard, cold branches pierced deep within Rowen's heart.
"You...said...you would let...him...go" the man got out through the strain.
Nauz looked upon the man,"And I did.'"
She then turned and left him there, lifting her power from his wretched body. He would live that pain and the horrible sight of his dear only son staked upon a tree.

Alone. He walks through the vast, scorching desert, with only his sword at this side, and hatred in his heart. The howling desert wind, deafening to most people, is mute to him. All he can hear is the screams of those that “raised” him, as they were slaughtered by a man that should not exist in the realm. He can still feel their blood on his skin, and the scent of their rotting courses. However, he cannot remember what he felt back then…Terror? Pain? Sorrow? Happiness? Anger?…he cannot remember. He has forgotten what it was like to feel emotions, and yet, he knows exactly what hatred feels like, it’s the only thing he has felt ever since his clan was slaughtered…10 Years Ago. Since then, he has wandered searching for a way to kill the man that made him this way. He looks to the sky to see if he can see the birds flying, but instead of birds, he sees a piece of paper, blown to him by the wind. He reaches out to grab the paper with incredible speed before it gets away from him. He grabs the paper and looks at it with no emotion in his eyes, but if he did have emotion, he would probably have anger in them. He grips the paper even harder, “…”. He then tosses the paper into the wind and continues to walk. “Their still looking for the wrong guy…after all this time, they still think it was me”. He then wanders out of sight of the paper, the paper that ruined his life, the paper that reads:

WANTED: DEAD OR ALIVE

SANGO SHINZO

CHARGED WITH MAN SLAUGHTER

REWARD: $80,000,000

The translucent cool hit Rimaru's face lightly, refreshing her of the day's exhilarating heat. The day was coming to an end, its splendor of blue, red and pink flowing beyond the river's reflective surface. Rim sighed as she sat on the river's bank, her brown hair blowing in her eyes. There were many days like this. Back when she was a young child.Rim smiled at the thought. It seemed like no matter what she did, she would always end up thinking about her past. The earliest of her memories were very vague.Very unclear, but she recalled the starvation, the pain, and the loneliness she endured...that is, until Captain Ian rescued her from an unspeakable fate.

Mosu looked at the crushed cigar in disgust. Then she looked at the woman and addressed her question of what she was doing here. "I go where I please for reasons of my own. They have nothing to do with you, and originally had nothing to do with that thing," she said, cocking her head to the human. "Now usually you tell what YOU'RE doing out here. In fact, I don't know what I'm still doing here," she said, and attempted to hobble away. She didn't care if the man still had the gun pointed at her, ready to shoot. She knew he'd fire it now, so she could just fall over to avoid it. She tried once more to turn back to her humanoid form, and it worked. She stood, her bo staff on the ground, holding a broken arm.

Effie shrugged and frowned at her crushed cigar, wishing she hadn't had to put it out. "I'm here because I was walking through the forest to get to the next rest-stop over, and I heard the moron shoot," she inclined her head at the man with the gun. "So I came over. I know this is going to sound silly, but I'm attracted to guns. It's like... Well, it's not something you would talk about around children, I'll just put it like that." She crossed her arms and twirled her hair more, listening to the snow for a moment. Snow, she was sure, did not crunch on it's own. "And it's not just the three of us anymore." She jerked her thumb at the bushes around the edge of the clearing in which they were standing.

'Shoot!' she thought, 'that woman has good ears'. Snow looked up at her owner, waiting for her decision. The girl thought over it a while, and started making handsigns at her friend. It translated into 'let's wait here a bit, see if they'll believe the woman, if the man decides to shoot the gun, I'll protect us and we can run.' The cat turned back to the scene along with the girl, both curious to see whether they would be forced to leave from this curious scene. 'A man with a gun, a woman with a cigar, and a half-demon, I wonder what's happening' she thought and silenced her thoughts to concentrate on what may lie ahead.

'Human', the word echoed in the deep hole and a deafening silence descended upon the crowd. The little girl shivered at the eerie feeling that quickly filled the space.
"I don't know" The little girl answered truthfully. The fairies stared at the child for what seemed like eternity, then together they began singing a haunting melody. A weary feel crept through the girls blood, and as her mind screamed a warning the world darkened. Before she could block her ears, she was thrust into darkness as the song carried her away...
The first things that filled her mind were the sounds of singing and whizzing. Opening her eyes she saw a huge rock ceiling with fire fly lanterns scattered across it. Lifting herself up, she surveyed the huge cavern she was in and watched quietly as the melodic little fairies zipped about her. Her eyes settled on the purple stones that circled her; the air right above them glittered and rippled gently, distorting the fairies forms. "Meow", the sound had her turning quickly and she stared at the cat that sat at her side. Happily it meowed again and jumped into her arms. She laughed happily in response; just seeing it made her abduction seem trivial. The cavern fell silent at the sound of her loud giggles. All eyes turned to her and the playful cat...
"Did she have a cat before?" one fairy whispered, as they stared intently
"Not that I remember" another replied doubtfully, as it zipped around far above her
"I sensed a second presence" An old fairy said, but the younger one's burst into laughter, unheeding the old lady's words.
"Lets take it" someone whispered and there was silence. The suddenly simultaneously a crowd of fairies dived towards them, passing through the glittering barrier surrounding the little girl. Alarmed, she tightly hugged the cat to herself, but the fairies grabbed a hold of the little animal and tugged ferociously at it. Their giggles were loud and their happiness at this new game was evident. But to the little girl it was a cruel taunting as they struggled to take her only friend. Their faces were masks of wickedness filling her vision and tearing her heart away. The moment the warmth of the cat left her arms, she shut her eyes and screamed. It was a bitter scream, filled with horror and loneliness. If they took the cat away, she doubted she could live another day. And from the depth of her something raptured, her body shivered as the air around her suddenly felt so cold. She hugged herself and sobbed. The feeling of loneliness descending already with the deathly silence that settled around her.
"Meow", the girl opened her eyes and stared down at the cat infront of her. It's fur was littered with little icicles but it shook them off easily, jumped into her arms and licked her teary face. The little girl giggled slightly, then confused at its return, looked up and gasped...
She was in an igloo. The stone floor she was on was covered in ice and the once transparent glittering barrier was frozen slabs of ice. The only thing that remained unchanged was the purple stones still surrounding her. The little girl hugged the cat tightly, but it quickly wriggled away and pounced happily on a tiny figure lying still in the snow. The little girl looked confused and reached out the cats new toy. Gently she extracted the fragile-looking form from the cats claws, her eyes went wide as she realized what it was. Quickly she scanned the ice all around her and covered her mouth with both her hands. "No, not again!" she pleaded tearfully through her covered mouth. Then she shut her eyes, holding back tears, as she tried to erase the sight of the ice, scattered with the beautiful figures of frozen fairies

Mosu sniffed the air. "I smell a cat, and a mage thing. Hmm... We know you're there, get out here now! I can tell your not from the dark side, like this one," she said, angling her ears towards the woman. She let her inured arm drop and hang limply by her side, while balancing on her bo staff. She was looking at the man who had been silent for the past few moments. She couldnt tell if he was bad or not. He worried Mosu, and the fact that Choko hadn't done anything when the gunshot went off worried her more.

A nimble figure walks down the side of a river in a beautifully green forest.Nothing looks strange about the scenery so the figure deciedes to sit beside it,sets a easle up and starts to paint. Now who exactly would just sit in the middle of a forest just to paint?
That would be Lena.If something captured her large brown eyes she'd plop down without a second thought and re-capture the scene on a small canvase. As Lena continued her painting she started hearing rustling behind her. She quickly put her things away and continued walking but much more cautiously. Not to far from her were some centaur weren't very happy to see her."What should we do with the human?" asked one of the centaur to it's leader."We make sure it learns it's lesson for trespassing in our forest." he said cracking a somewhat wicked smile.

Nauz stared at the four with curiosity as she cut at her hair with a dagger she stole from a hunter. She was cutting it just a bit passed her shoulders.
She then dropped the locks to the snowy ground and fluffed out her fire red curls. She then pulled off the heavy skirts and beneath them was a much shorter skirt that was easy to move in and was fluttery.
On her right thigh was a black leather band that held a black hand gun. On the other thigh was a black leather band that held ten small piosonous darts.
There was one, a youngish half-cat, crouching behind a bush. Then there was a woman standing near a crushed cigar, looking apon a wounded girl. Then there was a man.
Nauz smiled to herself, but kept quiet. She'd best keep herslf unknown.

"Wow, you're good," Effie said, grinning. Now that she had been identified out loud as a Black Croniel, she didn't have to worry about what she said and what information she gave--to an extent. "You knew that just by smelling me? That's pretty amazing." Her nimble fingers, no matter how they itched to shoot something into the air--and odd gripping sensation she had sometimes--remained in her pockets. She made no attempt to warn the others, for she knew she didn't have to shoot at anything, so she wouldn't. Not matter how much she wanted to.

Nauz took a step backward, meaning to leave quietly, but stepped instead into someone behind her.
She instantly turned, disturbing the snow to be faced with a very gorgeous man. More gorgeous than any other man Nauz has ever tortured and slain.
Nauz smiled, wanting to make him her pet.
His sensual mouth curved into a grin as his soft green eyes held her's,"Interesting... how your eyes change." He looked passed her for a moment then back down at her,"They are knowledgeable of your prescence."
Nauz turned to see four eyes fixed upon her.

Alexandria reached a wide open space with some sort of base built out from the side of a mountain and she knew immediately that is was attached to the cave system that would without a doubt lead to her home. She always managed to find a fight when it came to the cave system that was apart of her home. Thinking back to the mission at hand she concentrated her eyes so that her pupils enlarged and she could see closer to the base. She assessed the situation and found her biigest challenge would be taking out the two guards that just so happened to be big ugly trolls.
Alexandria stepped forward into the clearing and walked straight towards the base with her head held high. She wasn't afraid of the trolls infact she welcomed their aggression and want for a fight as it meant more fun for her. Trolls with their size offer her something in a fight, they offer her a challenge a resilience to her attacks.
The trolls took a few seconds to realise she was approaching them and when they noticed her they yelled to her "Hault, no-one goes here. Walk away now or you will be killed". Thrills ran up her spine as she started to enjoy herself and she began to run at them. The trolls being big were not the challenge she had hoped for as she struck their feet with her whip and their clumsy limbs swung for balance but with no hope they came crashing down, so hard to the point she realised they had knocked each other out.
Disappointed she regathered her whip and continued towards the base when in a few seconds she was forced to quickly manouver from hundreds of arrows with only a few able to glaze her skin or outfit. The blood coming from her scarce wounds allowed her some hope for a decent battle as she too got out her bow and arrow and returned fire. More arrows came whirling but this time there were more and they were better planned and aimed. Only one arrow caused her any real damage which was to the right side of her neck and although only a skim it was still the worst wound she had at present. As she entered the doorway she realised a row of horses and carts where fleeing into the caves and as she tried to get to the at least fifty beasts got in her way and she was forced to fight her way through.
Again she was dissappointed as with even fifty men they possed barely a challenge for her and as she ran for the carts she spotted the man she thought as the leader as he ordered everyone around and tried to board the last cart. Knowing he was the perfect hostage she again fought her way through thirty more beasts that were obviously better trained than the others as they managed to slice her down the left side of her back when she used the whip to cature the suppossed lead man.
The fight finally becoming something a little more thrilling she tied down the lead man and continued her fight with the other stronger beasts until there was none left standing. As she left the base dragging the lead man behind her she thought it over and realised this was a sanctuary a place where those with money who wanted protection paid money and it was like a safe house for them. yes, that explained the carts fleeing into the caves and the different fighting levels of the beasts and that meant that the beasts still protecting the carts would pose more of a challenge and that meant more fun. No longer needing to think she rushed and gave the lead man to the superiors soldiers briefed them on the trolls unconciousness which probably meant they were going to be enslaved and then explained about how she thought it was a sanctuary and she ran back to the base and into the caves.
