We've all seen this happen. An anime will be extremely popular, for a long time. Then, all of a sudden, it vanishes. You never hear of it again. Name some of these anime to refresh the minds of those of us who have let our anime pasts slip away...

Full Metal Alchemist. It used to be everywhere, but I haven't heard about it in a few months...

Haha yeah that sucks. But where Im at FMA hasnt dissappeared, my sister and her man are really into it although I'm way past them(I've only still yet to see the movies). Somehow they got into it without ME introducing them (which is usually the case..I usually get them into something, but they found FMA and death note on their own and were actually the ones to intro me to death note the anime...I had started watching the movie before I saw the anime so..ok off topic here LOL) so It must have been SOMEWHERE haha.

Im not sure about the animes that just 'die' out of the public eye...because Im not usually in public.......I dont get out much

Well, yeah, people still watch them and stuff, but before... you saw threads in CR like, 'Who's cooler, Edward or Alphonse,' where as now you see stuff like, 'Who should Lelouch be with.' It's like the dead anime have been replaced...

Even if others would forget what came before, I won't. Forcibly forgetting the content so I would have to re-watch them goes some way in keeping my interest alive, especially during (increasing) periods of time where there's nothing interesting to do.

But it's sad to see all these new Gundams when few remember or even gives a damn about the Universal Century.

That, and the original ToHeart...

yah everybody talks about seed or seed destiny but nothing bout the one year war or the zeta series what bout ms 08th team

Probably any anime that is older because a lot of people are just interested in watching the next "big" thing. So probably anime like Yu Yu Haksuho I remember when that used to be big lol, all the older Gundam Series because everyone is so hung up on 00 and Seed, Slayers...well not any more hopefully, now that a new season is coming out.

well truthfully speaking the kiddy anime are usually the ones that died off. Like Pokemon and Digimon.

I must say that FMA did not died offf. It stay popular through the time it aired. Also it still popular to many ppl. Like myself I realli enjoy the anime, however, as time continue we would talk abt other new animes. But just because we don't alk abt it, doesn't mean it died in our hearts.

For me right now, I can say Chrono Crusade died off as it continue its airing. Then the ending kill me, not how they both died, but the ending of the story itself. I am pretty sure there is more, but can't think much lol.
