It doesn't matter how one treats a body once it is dead. If I donate my body to science that means it could end up being blown up or several thousands of other scenarios, I won't feel it or even know as I will be dead. And if I can help discover something that will help others in the furture then by all means. Every one gets cut open atleast in the states to be embalmed so that point is not passable. I could careless if they ground up my left over parts, I will be dead what good will they be to me in death? If I were to be murdered then in such a case they wouldnt be allowed to touch my body until all evidence was collected any way... hmm yeah still can't think of how it will be useful. Like I said only selfish stingy people would not donate. For any reason. I am an atheist so I think any religious reason not to donate is silly obviously. So that guilt trip doesn't really work on me. It is my opinion so I say it how I see it. You can believe what you want. I just hope that if you should ever need a replacement there is someone out there is not selfish who has a matching part. Donators save lives, open up new possibilities, people who don't help the black market for body parts thrive, preventable deaths more likely, longer waiting list happen. |
