This is a general thread on ships so anything which relates to ships can be covered.
you can post pictures of ships and kinds of ships. How ships find their location ? Can you use time to find the ship location and how? How to balance the ship? What are the basic science principles that are used to make the ship move with less force? Your favorite ship? Why ships go down and sink? What are needed to operate a ship? Laws to protect the environment with respect to shipping industry and other laws related to ships? Ship expeditions ? Discussion on issues related are encouraged. (The Titanic ?).....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ship
A ship is a large vessel that floats on water. Ships are generally distinguished from boats based on size. Ships may be found on lakes, seas, and rivers and they allow for a variety of activities, such as the transport of persons or goods, fishing, entertainment, public safety, and warfare.

Main parts of ship. 1: Smokestack or Funnel; 2: Stern; 3: Propeller and Rudder; 4: Portside (the right side is known as starboard); 5: Anchor; 6: Bulbous bow; 7: Bow; 8: Deck; 9: Superstructure

I <3 ships with sheep

Anyway, ships float on water due to the principle of buoyancy. Ships go down and sink when a change on a ship's surface and engine function would occur. A permit, captain, crew and of course a functional ship is needed to be able to operate one. Also, there's this thing called radar and radio that helps aid in communication between ships and the port marshals.

i think the ICEBURG caused the ship to sink
