I'm not really complaining because the new style was good. And I'm glad they are involving some other students (Tatsuki, etc.) I was ready to kill myself if they did more Ikkaku backstory....not that I don't like the guy.

Bleach does their filler episodes very well, like it`s really part of the plot. Plus, I bet if they went by the manga entirely, we`d be to a point where we`d have to wait for a couple more chapters to be released before they could make an entire episode. it`d take much longer to wait for episodes, and I doubt anyone will actually wait months for an episode.
