no he was trying to stress what he had told him all along....simply dont rush into something your not ready for.....right then was not the time to argue the situation...too many hot heads and a dying mans accusation= very tenuous nerves....add in the fact he still had muramasa drawn just made it worse....if you found someone with a gun standing over a body that has been shot and the person shot is accusing the guy with the weapon would you be willing to hear his argument? absolutely not or if you are than your a bit nuts....simply put Genrei was using the old adage of discretion is the better part of valor....same reason why squad ten surrendered their zanpakuotu in the Diamond dust rebellion....telling him to give up saved lives plain and simple...if kouga would have attacked in front of everyone he would have been labeled a criminal for sure and no amount of talking would have changed that.

I've been wondering this for awhile and I'm too lazy to go back in this thread to see if anybody even asked this question.

Does anybody have any idea what time period this arc is even in? I'm sure it's after the Soul Society but before what? I've been pondering because I remember in episode 248 when Orihime was healing Muramasa she said, "What's this? His reiatsu feels evil, like an Arrancar's." So that means she already met an Arrancar? Then that means this is after she was rescued or what?

since this is a filler it has nothing to do withn the real main story so it can be any where you want it to be!!!

It's looking like this filler arc will be ending soon. Today's episode is 251. Here's the title for episode 255: "Final Chapter·Zanpakutō Unknown Tales"

so yea, new ep was pretty awesome. kinda felt bad for muramasa. cant wait for Byakuya vs kouga.

I liked this episode, I kinda felt bad for muramasa as well. Got to see Byakuya's grandfather in action although on briefly. Next week should be good with Byakuya vs. Koga. The question remains, after this arc is over, will it be 10 one shot filler eps such as was reported on that chinese site? That site was correct about the length of this arc, they might be correct about the 10 filler eps afterward as well
