1. Audition / Ichi The Killer (Both simply are at the top)
2. Fudoh (exploitation at its best)
3. Deadly Outlaw Rekka (You gotta love the soundtrack & the amazing camera work)
4. Shinjuku Triad Society (Best Yakuza - Triads movie to date)
5. Gozu / Visitor Q (Both Amazingly Shocking!!)
6. Dead Or Alive I (Love the plot Cop vs Crooks ) / Dead Or Alive II: Birds (Emotionally Amazing)
7. One Missed Call (Lets call it the movie that made all other asian horror movies look like crap)
8. Graveyard Of Honor (The movie's main character is the kind that you love to hate)
9. Masters Of Horror's Imprint (Simply disturbing)
10. Blues Harp (Very Good)

I thought i'd expand my list to all Miike fans =D

which dead or alive are people talking about?
since it's a trilogy...
I like how especially nuts the third one gets. the robot at the end! wtf? lol.

my favorite miike film, in the one i love to watch over and over again is got to be Ichi the Killer I musr have seen it like 32 times
has anyone seen it in any version other than the directors cut? because I have never seen any other version. but the name would imply there is maybe different version. Also if I ever met Miike I would beg him to cast Tananobu Asano in another film (the guy who played Kakahara) He's is my all time favorite Japanese actor (like in sharkskinman peachhipgirl)

but i really loved his early stuff like rainy dog or ley lines from the shinjuku triad society

MPD psycho the tv series he did would be amazing if the only copies you can get aren't all censored

Graveyard of Honor. While I prefer the Fukasaku version, Miike makes an excellent adaptation of his own. It works for me because Miike makes it his own and doesn't try to make an exact copy of the 1975 film. A much more mellow and low key film(still violent and powerful) than the Fukasaku version which was full of chaotic, explosive, and frantic rage. More closer to the tone of a Kitano yakuza film.
