These so called "instincts" and "hormones" are excuses for stupidity. Rash thinking and poor judgment are to blame. Sure hormones effect your emotions but they don't affect you logic,common sense, etc.
I , for one, have never "given in" to my emotions. Those who fall to their emotions and act like morons are weak. The weak get no where and soon perish.
It is better to feel no extreme emotions then to be a slave to them. Those who rely on "gut feelings" and "instincts" only do so because they are too weak to control themselves. I honestly never get flared up with anger or passion. I'm never overly joyful or depressed. What happens happens, just move on.
Anyway, what bother me about nearly everyone is that they can't take criticism. How could they expect me to say "Wow, you did great!" when they sucked? Bluntness may be cruel but it is right. I also dislike people who complain about their life. Someone in your family died? So what. Like crying and being all overly emotional is going to help you or bring them back? So you think your misunderstood? Maybe you haven't taken enough take to understand others yourself. Being overly emotional is worthless, a weakness, and a waste of time.
So if your one of these people who are slaves to their emotions or are overly dramatic about every damn thing, then just suck it up and act mature. Emotions are natural, just learn to deal with them.
