I know it's wonderful! You've accepted Jesus Christ as you're personal saviour and for a while you're stoked about loving him and bringing glory to his name! BUT (this is the part that many Christians forget about) you have to work daily to bring yourself closer to God and to grow in your faith! Praying, reading the Bible, maybe even a little fasting here and there...awesome stuff right? I'm sorry to all of you that wanted to take the easy road out of Christian life but it doesn't end there...We're forgetting somthing quite important....

That's right! Bringing souls to the kingdom of God! Saving people's spiritual lives and bringing them to an eternity with their Maker and their Saviour...We can live our lives as long as we want on this world living in our own comfortable bubbles going to school, work, church and starting the week all over again and again...but what's the point if we don't actually step out of our comfort zones and do something for the glory of God?

Most of us will live our lives out as happy little baby Christians crawling around and living our baby Christian lives being happy where we are and never growing spiritually. When you get to heaven and God asks you what you did to extend his kingdom what's your answer going to be? Myself included hehe ^_^. Don't die as a baby Christian...grow and become a man or woman of God that is strong your faith. Someone that isn't afraid to tell others about their Savior. Someone that's worked DAILY to die to their sin and follow God.

There are literally millions of hurting people on this Earth...millions that we should be reaching out to, praying for, providing for, helping financially, preaching the gospel to...but in the end what are we doing for them?

That's my rant for this month hehe...

You're so right. We really need to take this seriously.

I try my best to reach out to other people. I'm not afraid to tell people about God. I'm proud to say that durin this last school year I've told lots of people about God and my views. Whether or not they accepted Christ is unknown to me, but I still pray that they do. There's really not that much I can do as of now besides praying, but I do what I can. My family's in financial trouble, but whenever I have an extra dollar I donate it. As a Christian, I think it's one of our most important priotiries to help anyone and everyone.

Last summer I went to Nova Scotia on a missions trip with my Church to a camp my pastor's family ran. While we were there more then half of the kids who attended that week accepted Christ. It felt to good to know that I was a part of that, even though I was not there when the girls inmy cabin accepted Him.

We should all do what we can to bring other people to Christ, whether it's volunteer work, donatin money, or just prayin. Prayer can be stronger then action.

haha I'm glad that I've gotten a couple of responses haha...I was worrying that I was being to hard on people...but yah...I know I should shut up about going to india but when I go this time I'm going to try to help as many poor people as I can...it won't be much but it'll at least brighten up their day a little and who knows? Maybe farther down the road they might accept Christ and I'll be a small part of their story...^_^

This is so true. We need to be advancing the Kingdom of God. We need to mature ourselves and allow God to glorify Himself in our lives and to serve our Savior who so lovingly gave His all for us. This is a lost and dying world, as Christians we are called to be the salt and the light of the world. People need to hear the message of Jesus Christ. Some will reject it, some will persecute us, sometimes we are to suffer for what we believe. But as Christians this is what we must to do advance the Kingdom of God. We are to share the Love of God to all nations and people so that they might be saved. We need to work in our own lives, to strive for righteousness. Let us all sharpen each other, show love, and help in adding to the Kingdom of God!

I agree with you guys 100,000,000,000%. I go to Liberty University, it's a Christian university in Lynchburg, Virginia that was founded by Dr. Jerry Falwell Sr and I've realized that even though when I went there last semester, my faith was lacking, but now my faith has grown a lot stronger due to time I've spent earnestly seeking the Lord. Ever since I did, I can't get enough. God has now become my strongest addiction.

Anyway, when I look at the student body, I realize that I've learned some things that God wants me to teach to other students there, saved and unsaved. So everyone pray for me as I head back to Liberty in a few weeks so that I would be able to properly and humbly help others continue their walks with Jesus.

Remember it is not us that bring souls to the Lord. It is Jesus working thru us that brings the wandering souls to Father.

It's like the apostle Paul said, "I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow." And the only way for people to accept Christ is for Jesus to have first made a move on his/her heart, so never ever try to force them to or coerce them to convert. It'll just turn them away from Christianity and probably make them hate you.

Unfortunately the higher ups in your religion think differently. As reported on the BBC website (pretty reliable) the archbishop of Canterbury (the highest ranking Christian in the UK for those of you who don't know) recently held a meeting with all his top bishops to openly discuss tactics on how to actively convert more people to their religion. That's not Jesus at work there people, that's humans. Btw on a side note when you talk about 'bringing souls to the lord' it sounds like your trying to be the grim reaper or something lol, you might want to rephrase that to what you actually mean which is 'converting people' otherwise people might get the wrong idea about what you're trying to do to them.
