It's a video game that came out in 2000 based off of Lewis Carroll's children story and going to become a movie that will be released in 2009.

Plot
Shortly after her second adventure, Alice's parents are killed in a fire - of which she is the only survivor. After trying to commit suicide , she becomes catatonic. She is institutionalized in Rutledge Asylum. Years later, the White Rabbit summons Alice to aid a radically altered Wonderland, now under the despotic rule of the Queen of Hearts.

So have anyone played the game or heard anything about it?

Such a good game heh heh i only watched my brother play it cos i was too scared and young to play it xD.

But yeah the way all of them change to a darker side is so great (the cat especially). It seemed to me that this was an obvious thing to do heh heh. i wish they would do something similar for the wizard of Oz or something

I play it all the time. I even have the figurines of Alice and the Cheshire Cat.

(As in the ones that go for a heavy amount of money right now, not the new crappy version of them.)

McGee actually did plan an Oz game at one point several years ago. I don't recall what became of the project, however. I actually exchanged e-mails about it because someone I was working with was working on a tabletop Oz game and we wanted to keep the projects nicely separated so there'd be no confusion between them.

In the webcomic Cheshire Crossing, which was a crossover for the heroines of AiW, Widard of Oz, and Peter Pan, Alice views Wonderland as her own personal Hell. You can read it at http://www.cheshirecrossing.net/.

Movie's pretty much in development hell though it sounds like they really wanna eventually get it made. It was first announced like nine years ago so they might have to wait for something else to launch with the movie to generate some much needed hype for it, like for when the sequel comes out.

Oh and Sarah Michelle Gellar isn't on the project anymore, so it's up in the air who will be Alice if and when the movie comes out.
