i'm sorry if i can't provide that yet! because it's hard to finish up nyx-sama...
it's harder to finish up rene and bernard-san... and right now,
i still have tons of CGs in rayne, hyuga, and jade that i want to open
before i try nyx-sama again! >< sorry for keeping you all waiting...

i just can't get pass the time when nyx-sama is taken by erebos... T.T
i always fail there! i'm reading the secret codes now... it's all written in japanese,

Hehehe... ^^ Don't be scared to try. If you have the secret codes (most otome games have fans who already finished the games and are willing to share their secret codes online!), you can play them and finish them... like I did. ^^ Without the secret codes, it will take longer to play, but of course, more fun! ^^ I always try to play first, and then when I really can't do it anymore or if there's any ending that won't open, then I'll go look for this codes... ^^;;

Neo Angelique Abyss is by far has the most complicated codes I've ever seen... I'm giving up already on Bernard-san and Rene... T.T

all otome games from japan for playstation 2 are in high quality.
better than mobile ones like nds or psp versions.
playstation 2 is encoded on a DVD so the picture quality is outstanding.

I have the game and I'm currently playing it, but I'm having some difficulties getting the endings. I got the queen's ending on my first try (even though I was aiming for J.D. XP), but I'm wondering if what I'm doing is the right way. It seems rather difficult to get the endings you want.
And what's this about the code?

there are walkthroughs that you can read to get the endings you want. ^^ but most of the walkthroughs i founf of neo angelique is very hard to follow (they're written in japanese)... ^^ if you want, i can help by translating the walkthroughs in english, but it might take some time!

Interesting - now that you've finished the endings for Rene and Bernard, any idea of what they're saying? I'm curious to know what their connections are to the heroine, if only for the plotline of the anime.

^^ i don't get the question... what do you mean by that? i think the anime is different than the game.
the storylines are connected basically, but not the same. it seems that koei did it on purpose,
so fans are required to see the anime even though they have played the game. =.=
just like la corda d'oro... and harukanaru toki no naka de...

Well, within the anime context, they would qualify as part of the 'harem' (though the harem seems to have grown a bit from the 6 main male options to go for in the game) and I'm just curious to know what their roles were in the game, as opposed to their seeming roles in the anime. Bernard seems to have some connection to Angelique's past, perhpas knowing her as a child. He is technically 30, so if she's 17, he might have been about Roche's age when he saw her last. He's got some connection to the necklace she lost - I'm wondering if it was something he gave her when she was much younger, or if it had belonged to her mother and Bernard has some connection with her late parents. That's the kind of thing that the anime has yet to reveal and to which his game ending might have a couple of clues.

Same thing with Rene - he's supposed to be the next leader of the Organization (I'm thinking they're a bit like the Knights Templar - a combination of fighting force and religious institution), but not sure exactly what his relationship with Angelique would be - they've only met once and I'd think that anything between them would be more of a quasi-religious thing. I am curious as to why those two would be options, but were not given endings. Were they simply assuming that the the players for the game would be less interested in these two characters than they would the four main male leads?

I'll agree it's a stroke of marketing genius - to get the whole story, you have to buy the games AND the videos, if you want continuity - I'm running into that right now with the main Angelique plotline. since Arcadia is mentioned as a pocket cosmos in one of the games, where the two Queens (Limoges and Collet) have to unseal Elba, And the whole deal with Arios and the issue he had with his split personality. Since the 2nd season of the Angelique Etoile series has yet to be fansubbed and try as I might there just don't seem to be any raws of it anywere, I need to find out what happened to Arios and Ange. As the games are not available to an English-speaking audience, I'm missing huge chunks of the plotline. Trying to write a fanfic about the gap between NAA 1st season and NAA 2nd season is a little maddening, since I need some of that info and it just isn't available in English on the Web. Trust me, I've Googled it. Lots. *grinds teeth*
