Spoiler here too. If you don't want to know don't see.

Erebos actually saved Nyx from drowning in the ocean.
Because Nyx said he wanted to live and Erebos has thus granted it.
But the sad thing is that Erebos lives inside Nyx and is almost going to take control of Nyx's body already.
