AND . how exactly do the referrals works? 1) Increasing your magic stat, every few stat points will increase your maximum damage a little and minimum damage a little. 2) Buying armor that boosts a specific element damage amount. For example, (Even though Im just using it for show, since I kill things with physical attacks) Im wearing sapphiron boots (i think) that increase water damage by 13. Also have a sword that increases water damage by 25. Those are the 2 ways.

You find shoes off 18-20ish mobs that sell for 6.25k Gold O_O hmmm, gold starts rolling by Lv.15 coz like as Lv18 NPC's gives Ruby Metal Boots.. key to it is when you're Lv15 Evade NPC's/Monsters that aren't Lv18 they also give like 1k EXP so it wont be long till you lvl to 16 and so on..
