L 23 days to live?why!

i dotn get why he doesnt just write that he will die after 50 years..so he can leace as lone as a normal person can...why! if he wrote 50 years and not 23 his plan would still work....

i think, because the death note will only work on 23 days!! and if he does right 24 or 25...i might not work?

ermm...i think you should read more about the rules of death note...
there's only a maximum of 23 days ....

yup... if you write more than 23 days, the death note will see it as an error and L'll die immediately after he wrote it T_T

Anyways in the begining of the movie he realy doesnt seem to care
but at the end he says he wants to live longer..
I dont think he was thinking about that when he wrote his name..
Anyways the Death Note has a maxiam days of 23

um if u watched the 2nd death note movie he had to write his name in the death note or he'll day even sooner therefore he didnt care of writing his name in the death note

Guys, what 23 days? Was there a 23-day thing in the Rules of Death Note in the movie (you see, I haven't seen the movie but saw the anime)?
