Here's a good bjj video site that I found. Doesn't have that many techniques, but at least a few dozen. Use the panel on the right side to navigate through the diff vids. Focuses on:
Arm locks
Chokes
Escapes
Guard
Sweeps
Transitions
Takedowns
Positions
Leg locks
Misc

first time seeing this but here goes, i thought i'd post a a link to the vid so others can check it out. Tell me what you think about this. I still cringe when I see women get hit, but all the power to these women though.

I don't know too much about MMA or UFC, but I was going to ask you guys,
What DO you do if you are fighting multiple people?
You can't take them down to the ground or their buddies beat you up...
What is the strategy there?

cbisram you just went from average crunchyroll forum troll to forum demi-god for posting that video.

As for fighting multiple people striking is much preferred to grappling tactics. Obviously you're going to fight dirty, groin strikes, throat, eyes, ears, knees, and elbows are the sorts of places you should look to attack. It also helps to get in a location and situation where they can't come at you from all directions, if you are unable to do this it is usually best to become offensive. By initiating the action you take away the chances of them coherently attacking you all at once.

^ are you freaking kidding me dude? that's HUGE news, OMG, this is exciting, holy shit, well I guess this ends the Pride/UFC rivalry. Now MMA fights are gonna be on a diff level, wanderlei silva, fedor emelianenko, sakuraba, shogun rua and all those guys can now compete against the staple ufc guys, so competition has just gotten alot tougher. The heavyweight division was stacked before, but now its gonna be crazy.

I must admit, I am a sad panda over the recent news, despite the intial glory of OMG SUPERFIGHTS LOL you gotta put it in perspective, no more soccer kicks, no more headstomps, (I.E no more fucking chutboxe), and just how long before all the best talent goes to the UFC and Pride simply becomes a feeder org to feed it?

Unified NSAC rules. Zuffa running Pride. It all translates to me as 2 hours of mickeys commericials and 4 fights, as opposed to Pride's 9.

For me this is a sad day, call me a nuthugger, whatever. But competition is good. A monoply is not, now we have but one big Org, whats to stop Dana from introducing set payrates?

I've got my memories I guess. But i WILL mourn this loss, perhaps more than I have anything in recent years.

no Zuffa isn't going to run it from what I read, Lorenzo's and his brother bought Pride for 65 mill under the casino they own, and not the UFC parent company Zuffa. They will dissolve Dream Stage, but still keep Pride in japan, in fact there is an upcoming lightweight grand prix. Soccer kicks and head stomps will be kept, and Dana has no say in Pride, although his relationship with the Fertita borthers may influence their decisions.

I'm afraid Cbis the rules will be NSAC:( Meaning full UFC rules. Also the weight classes - will be changed in UFC's favour, despite the fact UFC made them as they were due to Tito.http://evilmaster-mma.blogspot.com/

Damn, that would really suck ass, I like Pride because it allowed guys like Dan Henderson to fight in diff weight classes, but the UFC is too damn restrictive. Anyways, I heard something about a big interpromotional event at the end of the year, so perhaps we could be seeing the dream matches we've all been waiting for, so in a way its worth it.

I know it was big news and covered by many of the MMA coverage media like http://www.thefightnetwork.com up in my neck of the woods, but I'm willing to give it time to pan out. Yes the loss or changes of some rules will be hard but again I want to see how fighters react more to it. They carry the fights and they adapt with each fed. The weight class commonality will be odder since now Pride will have 1 new weight class (155) so the good thing there at least is that a tourney can be held for it.

Luckily since it's happened in other sports too (boxing), it can still work and if it's true they keep Pride as Japan-centric and UFC as American-centric, with separate staffs and fighters, I cross my fingers with many for an optomistic turn for both companies as we all want to see good fights in the end.
