It's up to him. He's sustained numerous injuries and seems fine, of course the chronic symptoms of cranial damage are often manifested during latter stages in life during a decline period in immunity, vital signs, etc. as we get older. He's mentioned retirement before but never really acted upon it since he's been making millions from his fights. He even sent his children to a prestigious international school here in the Philippines where a semester costs around 500K Philippine pesos. Now, he's facing Hatton, good luck Manny.

He really should step down from making any political attempts, he's aggrandizing his capability of uplifting the indigent. True, he's helpful and lends financial and provisional assistance whenever he wins his fights but that won't be the only issues he's bound to face once he enters the unpremeditated and corrupted world of politics. I admire him for pursuing his education and several attempts to communicate in "Engrish" during interviews, my late father and I really enjoyed watching his post fight interviews where he's even more jarred and obscure.

Singing wise. He really patronizes his own album. I find it hilarious whenever he enters a fight that his 'theme song' suddenly stirs up along with his entrance.
