Hesitate to give an answer? ....

Unless I am thinking of the correct way to word my opinion, I refuse to hesitate. I might as well be lying. (Goes against my honor.)

However, sometimes I end up eating the words I spit out. The only words I try to keep to myself are pissed off words that are spewed out because I'm just being spiteful. Which isn't honesty, I'm just angry and going to spit garbage. That or when I am working and I am being paid to be 'professional'.

Also, training yourself believe in your thoughts, you might find it liberating to say what you mean.

When I'm talking, I rarely hesitate, but that's because my thoughts rush out before I can edit them.
Writing is totally different. I constantly proof read, & spell check. I'll rewrite if the words & my original thought don't sync up, or if it reads as too harsh or judgmental ( but not in every situation).
Hesitation over all isn't a part of my character (except the writing). Life usually happens to me spontaneously. Look before you leap rarely fits my actions- I'm generally running clueless where angels fear to tread.

Well said, though I personally believe hesitation is generally bad. Believe in your luck. It's a form of skill right?

After all you only live once, live it up.

I hesitate on a lot of things . Like whether I should go home early or replying to this thread .
Hesitating is a good thing sometimes , isn`t it ? It`s like that imaginary ' Pause Button ' on your
forehead like the book 7 Habits says . Hesitation is a split decision where one decides " Should I
react reactively or proactively ? "

I usually decide to react proactively . Offending people isn`t a habit of mine .

Sometimes, I do. I know what's going to happend if I write bad things on here or somewhere else.
But sometimes I don't really care. I'm just going to do it anyway.

Do you hesitate when you do something? What are those specific instances?
Do you mean IRL or online? I've hesitated when writing posts, and normally they just end up being saved drafts or an openoffice file that doesn't get sent.
IRL I hesitate to do stuff all the time lol.
Have you ever tried doing something bad and hesitated or not hesitated?
Yeah sure, I wrote this really nasty letter that I was going to send someone, and then I ended up not sending it because I didn't want to deal with the backlash.
What do you think are instances when most people hesitate?
I guess people tend to hestitate more often IRL rather then online, which I guess makes sense because when you go scream at someone at the office it's different then sending a message to someone (as cliched as that sounds, it tends to be true).

I hesitate all the time...
Sometimes it makes situations worse, because when you hesitate you lose the moment...
but a lot of times hesitation is a good thing, it's nice to be impulsive every one and a while, but a lot of times it helps to premeditate things.

if you can't think before you open your mouth you're not gonna make it far in life. many careers have crashed and burned because someone said something stupid and then they were torn to pieces.

i guess hesitating when i'm trying to answer some questions, coz i have to think if what i want to say makes sense,
coz sometimes i want to say something but coz i put it in wrong words, so it turn out something else :P

also just everyday choices i make, "will what i do affect my surrounding people and how?"
stuff like that.
