Unwanted birthday gifts? Lost a favorite pen? You people are fucking shallow.

Last year I lost my mother to cancer. She fought it for three years and even had a lung removed.

Then we found it had spread to her brain.

I don't want to talk about it anymore

He's right you know. If you don't have a truly sad experience you shouldn't have a post in this thread. O good god you don't have your favorite pen anymore, god forbid someone should think about you and get you present but them get the wrong one.
But anyways, Its not as bad as having my mother die, but I have quite a few dead grand-relatives. And a dog I'd raised from a puppy for 3 or 4 years that I'd grown quite fond of got ran over and I didn't even get to bury it. That was pretty sad for me.
But yes, My condolences for your loss.

Thank you for your sentiments

I'm pretty sure the purpose of this thread is to facilitate the sharing of similar experiences so people can know that no matter what shit happens in their lives, there will always be someone out there who understands and empathizes with them.

To everyone:
If you do not have a genuinely sad experience to share, kindly refrain from posting and consider that maybe your life isn't so bad afterall.

Wear your failure as a badge of honor. A reminder of a mistake you made once--but never again.
