So yeah, I say soulseek, torrents, and just buying the cd's are your best bet.

Seriously though, get a library card. Almost all public library's carry cd's and movies now. All you have to do if they don't carry the album your looking for is request it. If it's a larger public library they'll get it for you no matter where it's from in the world. Then just copy it to your computer. The library I use lets me check out 20 cd's at a time. I started doing this in may and since then I've put in requests for over 40 different artists and they've come through on every single one.
