As many of you have many opinions concerning the American remake of "Death Note," one of the mass objections was against having Zac Efron be casted at L.

[edited] It seems that I was mistaken, Zac Efron is now casted as Light not L. But it doesn't change the fact that there are some individuals who would like to see Kenichi Maysuyama as L in the American remake. So if you would like to support Kenichi, then do sign the petition. For other opinions out there, please be respectful towards mine, as I am toward yours. ^^

a REmake means doing it over with new people and stuff..
as much as i luved kenichi,it would definitely be strange to see him in an American movie..especially since HE DOESN"T EVEN SPEAK ENGLISH??!!

He barely knows how to speak english...

During the scenes with Near and Americans in L: Change The World, he spoke quite a bit of English actually...

yeah, and his english was understandable, he just needs intense english training to make his voice sound less robotic. Saves time having to search for a newbie and there isnt a guarantee the new actor would be as good as the original.
