i mean they're so predictable and most of
the time the actors and actresses are fake.

but to all the fans i'm sorry
if this offended you.
:)

agree to mspinaygirl's last post.

they should air asian treasures, enkantadia, ysabella and lobo...

and i just noticed that nobody (i think) mentioned marina. tv patrol aired this news before.. that some country here in asia bought it..

While you don't want your drama to be predictable, what you truly don't want in a drama is anything too unpredictable.

Case Study: This movie I watched called Hari Ng Yabang is about this country bumpkin guy who thought he was awesome and the poor fatherless girl next door was in love with him.

Anyway, his mum wanted them together and he was like "no" because he thought he was too awesome for her. So, he moved in with his cousin in the city to live the way he wanted.

Meanwhile, the chicks dad suddenly shows up and he's a rich American businessman (shudder about the acting here). Coincidentally, the cousin of the bumpkin gets work as the businessman's driver or car washer or something. The bumpkin somehow convinces him to take the car for a spin. They get into trouble or something and go to a house.

Suddenly there are ghosts, a kidnapping, a shoot-out, the chick is suddenly supposedly an awesome fighter and then, the soppy end where the two leads are in love with each other.

Since the girl became rich- the bumpkin didn't really learn his lesson even though they try to show he did, he just got everything he ever wanted. So you end up feeling a bit disappointed.

Anyway I watched this in Filipino with no subtitles and I don't understand enough to get the nuances of the conversation but where in the movie did it call for a ghost? Really?
