It was Len who influenced some of them to play an instrument.
I think most ppl chose Len either cuz he's cool, there's more romantic feel expressed in the episodes between him and Kaho, or mb cuz he seems such a nice guy actually

I think its still Len Tsukimori since he is the one that made Kahoko realize the beauty of the music of the violin. Plus the fact that they have some nice sweet romantic scenes in the anime and manga.. |
