I believe god is, well, god is what people make god up to be, I personally don't think the whole idea of "god" is that great, it could be something mankind made up to make us feel better about something in our lives that troubles us. There is no tangable evidence that god exists and there isn't any evidence to disprove that god does exist.

God is what people make it up to be. Whether it be some all powerful being, or simply an idea someone made up one day thousands of years ago to make their life seem easier, or maybe even a loser who is a total ass to supposedly "his" creation (that being us, mankind, or if you prefer, the human race).

If people don't believe in god, god has no power over anything, now does it?

God is someone we can blame for the lustful deeds, we have committed. We believe in the afterlife so we can get over "Death" in general. Those that are religious doesn't want to believe in death, so they think of another way to over come this.

god could be anything we want him or her to be. he/she can only be here if we believe that there is a god out there. mostly, we created god so that we would not be afraid of what will happen once we've died. it does not mean that there is no god, just that there is no physical proof that can prove that god is here or not. i mean, u can't just point and say, "hey, there's god". the existence of god is based on whether we believe there is a godand whether we can have faith that god is there to guild us in life and be on. maybe, because of that, faith is what god is.
