nooooo! he can't die! i won't let him! i have been a gakuen alice fan since the very beginning, re-reading it as many times as possible, and the only thing that kept me going was natsume! so he CAN'T die! their romantic scene in chapters 144-145, that MUST mean something! i mean... the mangaka can't take him away after something like that! it's bloody torture! if he does then.. wait, he can't die, why must i even say that? i'm jinxing him!! if he dies, i'll be completely unsatisfied with gakuen alice! he can't die! it's bloody impossible, illogical, and immoral! he'll never die, if i have something to say about it!  |

I feel like Hotaru will die in his place because Hotaru wanted Mikan to be happy again. & as her best friend she's willing to do anything @ the cost of her life to have Natsume & Mikan be together again once more

I also think that Hotaru will sacrifice herself in order to save Natsume. Though I'm not quite sure how. She needs her brothers help to do so, but she wouldn't want him to suffer the time-space retribution. Maybe they can switch the bodies of past and present Natsume?
