Clearly, TS meant graphics=drawn pictures.
Most anime are hand-drawn/computer drawn graphics anyway. Graphics are drawn as of definition of wikipedia and dictionary.com.
You are mixing it up with graphics as in graphics card in a computer rather than graphics as in art.

Seriously, your post would make so much more sense if the topic had to do with computer specifications rather than the skill of the artist.

Just accept that you have gotten the context wrong.
Denial does not separate oneself from the truth.

Your philosophying with me >.>

Anyone can write BS on wikipedia, also M-W has its own dictionary on a book.

going from M-W definition, I have justified my claim.

You're just defending nothing.

I don't have to defend against something that clearly supports me.

According to your M-W,

Main Entry:
graphic
Function:
noun
Date:
1944

1 a: a product of graphic art bplural : the graphic media2 a: a graphic representation (as a picture, map, or graph) used especially for illustration b: a pictorial image displayed on a computer screen <the program's graphics are impressive> cplural but sing or plural in constr : the art or science of drawing a representation of an object on a two-dimensional surface according to mathematical rules of projection3plural but sing or plural in constr : the process whereby a computer displays graphics4: a printed message superimposed on a television picture

Oh, sorry to burst your bubble, I was talking about WIKIPEDIA, not UNCLYLOPEDIA.
Don't embarrass yourself mixing two very different things up.

At least, bother to READ the sources you cite.

You are just merely attempting to justify your pride.

It was never justified from the start. The anime's artist is not the computer nor the graphics processer/renderer, but the human(s) doing the graphic art.

Animes are products of graphic art. If the art is badly drawn, naturally it is acceptable and normal to say that the graphics are bad.

The TS, right from the start, was clearly referring to the skill of the artist, hence the context at hand is graphics in graphic art, NOT computer specifications, which is how good your graphics renderer is.

I myself and studying an arts and IT related course(Games and Entertainment Technology), and if I didn't know the difference between graphic art and graphics rendered by a graphics processor I can simply withdraw from the course right now.

You don't need to have the logic and the intelligence of a cambridge professor to understand that. Stop making yourself look like a clown and exercise a bit of logic and the context at hand.

At any rate, I don't see any need to continue this debate/discussion whatsoever. If you wish to continue deluding yourself, so be it. I think it is obvious who is correct, and I don't have to emphasize on the obvious.

Have fun and good luck.

P.S Refer to my former post for an overly clear and precise explanation why you are not applying the correct meaning of graphics in the current context.

Depends on what time period. Obviously old anime from the early 90's and 80's will have worst graphics than today's anime.
