In some cases it is necessary. However, I'm a skeptic.

I've heard numerous times to never list yourself as an organ donor and I think there is valid reason to that. Let's say there is a patient in a hospital needing an organ transplant and is willing to pay a lot. Nearby, you just got into a very bad car crash, and you're listed as an organ donor. When you go to the hospital, doctors might not put as much effort into saving your life because they want your organs for the profit. See what I'm saying?

My Uncle who had died 3 years ago had a donor-heart and he had that heart for 16 years. After his dead some of my cousins were wondering if it was worth it to have a donor-heart at beginning.

I think it was all worth it "allthough" he had up-and-downs sometimes, But he enjoyd life after that. But if someone got a transplantation its always difficult cause you never know is the body accepts the organ.

But when i hear that someone sells his own organs just for the money i just gets the shivers

It depends on the situation...... but usually car crash patients are the best candidates for transplant....
