The music is beautiful and the story is relatively realistic though I do hope real yuri relationships should form otherwise it would look more and more fake. But the fact that it has no superpowers no vampires, no magic, no giant robots, and no fanservice makes it THE BEST anime is not that reasonable. Maybe it can be on the list of the best anime within yuri or school life genres. I think anime should be voted depending on genres and not lumped together and voted one as best.

This anime is set in a country that resembles medieval China instead of old Japan. Old Japanese costumes are completely different.
