I was gonna say Guilty Gear, however, during the release of X2, ithink, its popularity sky rocketed... The I'd say Melty Blood and Arcana Hearts... Fast phase 2D-fighting always makes my blood pumped...

That's why I said X2 pulled the series' popularity... Because characters like Slayer and Bridget gets the fans attention... *chuckle*
But I wonder what the deal is with Guilty Gear and Guilty Gear X... they get pretty good reviews, still many fighting fans ignored them since it was overshadowed by Street Fighter and Capcoms VS games...

Well, its a matter of which genre a person prefer, though I like 2D fighting, I tend to question 3D fightings since they cant compete with their 2D counterpart in terms of speed and eye-candy effects...

Hey, have you tried those Naruto fighting games? Its like playing Dragon Ball Z... *chuckle* I wonder what comes into the creators mind when they gave them those 'flashy' techniques... a ninja should have simple, practical yet effective techniques and not those uber ones that'll make them stand out... Way to ruin the image of ninja Naruto....

Yes, our controller has seen better days, haha.... That was a no-brainer game and will not reflect how good you really are at fighting,DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi series was much better, it was the closest that a game will be able to imitate the anime... I commend that game for that despite my dislikes for the DBZ series....

Bloody Roar. Any game. seriously, they need to make one for this gen, or at least revive one for XBLA or PSN..

Virtua Fighter series. The learning curve for the game is really difficult, but worth it.

I remember playing that with my friend once. He had it for a month and I was playing against him for the first time. I just closed my eyes and button mashed, but still managed to win most of the time.
