Don't you everyone think that all Gundam Series are related to the future. Well, I mean the possible path the world might take.
For example, Gundam 00, which uses the AD system, the story is about the uneasiness of the world particularly to the fossil fuel producing countries.... Which is happening right now....
Try to imagine everything if the fantasy of the Series or "timelines" become possible..... There might be an Aeolia Schenberg or a Celestial Being lurking somewhere unnoticed.

Go ask Tomino himself or read the original Mobile Suit Gundam novel.

Painting your Gundam grey makes it more efficient.

Robots or mobile suits for that matter were meant to have super advanced technology that would somehow mirror the future. And as for it being feasible, only time would tell. Although I firmly believe that seeing things such as Gundams isn't too far off in the near future.

Chances of a Gundam being made are relatively slim. Chances of a Veritech being made is higher. Chances of a Knightmare being made is impossible. Chances of a Wanzer being made is relatively high.

I don't see how gundams are going to be made with current technology when armored vehicles are easily attacked and destroyed by shoulder mounted infantry weapons.

i think we will make one in the future.. look how fast technology is growing, in 50 years we made dangerous weapon, better transportation, and why not gundam, it is possible in the future way ahead... technology is growing so fast that pretty soon... we will be having our own airplane or flying car as a vehicle

Sorry but no, it is not feasible.

The human bipedal form is too inefficient to ever be engineered into a war machine. Not only would they be monstrously energy inefficient, they would also be combat inefficient. Super advanced technology or no, no engineer in his right mind will do it because it doesn't make sense.

Even out of the primates of comparable size and often lesser weight in the animal kingdom, humans are on the far weak end. Other primate species that often squat on hind legs will use their other limbs for locomotion. Four stabilizers are simply much better than two.

They would also have to account for human error. Have you ever wondered how traffic jams happen? It doesn't have to be a pile up or a major accident. Small minor shit like someone slamming the brakes, or driving a little too slowly, or swerving half into a lane and then swerving back will all add up to congestion on a freeway, especially if hundreds or thousands are all doing it at relatively the same span of time(meaning approximately within the same hour).

Computers actually do have better precision, speed and accuracy. At the very least when human intelligence is required, the human element will likely be relegated to remote control simply because it reduces on site stress error. If they ever make Gundam-ish machines, you can bet people won't be manning it, and it is unlikely it will be fighting anything.

Gundam is honestly a fictional thing that will never likely come to pass simply because it will be too expensive to be considered seriously, or if it does it will merely be a gimmick of technology. From a purely engineering perspective, it is not feasible. From a physics perspective, it is not feasible. From a mechanical perspective, it is not feasible. It has very little to do with how advanced our technology becomes because the natural laws of our universe simply does not support it as well as other forms. It can probably be done, but it will never become what it currently stands for in anime.
