What are you going to do when you go to the disease-infested place? Do you have any money? The only thing you can do is watch the misery and have a risk of getting the disease yourself. the guy's wallet's empty. it's a nonprofitable website, we don't give him money, dangit, he'll probably never see the rice that was given by the sponsers of the website.

you don't think the site is legit?! let me ask you this. do you believe that the United Nations legit?! Because that site is linked to WFP, if you would know it enough, is the world food programme, the programme that gives out food. you're not fricking suffering on rice shortage when you're sitting there leisurely typing nonsensical words. why don't you go to the site and read it and then come back and argue back. there's even videos and statistics.

If it were THAT easy to donate food and money to the poor than we should be seeing some improvements but from what I see on the news and on newspaper articles they're still dying from hunger and suffering from illnesses as they were before. Like I said before, if I do want to help I would go to those people myself and I will personally hand them food. Risking even my own safety will not matter to me as long as I know that the things I really am giving them will go to them. I just feel a bit fishy with this website as it gives out food in the easiest way.

I know that the UN is legit. I've seen them conducting operations here in my country and I've seen them in the news. I also know that the WFP is legit. And what do you know about my country's status? We ARE suffering from rice shortages. I just happen to have some relatives in the countryside that are nice enough to provide us with rice that could last for a couple of months so we don't need to buy from the market. As of now the government is rationing rice for the less fortunate, giving them a kilogram of rice every day.

Honestly, do you think the news would like to show happy stuff like a baby being born everyday and "ooohlalas" and balloons everyday, it's to tell us what we NEED to do as well as some sort of sadistic entertainment, but we're not going there. there has been improvements made, they're called resolutions and monitoring and the millenium goal. what things can you give to them? what's so fishy, it's not like you're handing money to them by telling them your bank numbers, it's a safe way. and even. even if they are doing something wrong, don't you think it would be shut down by now? and no one has anything to lose. sponsers are just helping the website out so wouldn't you think that they would check if the site's legit to them as well.

everyone's suffering from rice shortage these days! but most of us that aren't in poverty are still able to resort to other kinds of food while the less fortunate don't have any choices.

I see where this is going. I should have typed my comment in a more appropriate manner. Well if you are willing to donate aid via a website that enables you to do so by just playing a simple word game (which to me still sounds fishy) then go ahead. I'll still hold my ground with my previous statement that I would prefer to go to their place personally and help them with what I can do. I just don't trust people very easily and the website sounds way too good to be true.

is this even real or is it just some scam to get more viewers to a website or have people get viruses from these type of things.
