I think it's abot 15 that I've actually watched and finnished. Though I do start a lot of animes I genrally don't finish them I'm more of a manga person myself, when I find out about the anime then watch a few episodes to see if its good I normally end up searching for the manga

well, i've still got alot to learn lol
but i suppose i can pick out quite abit from conversations, particularly when someones bad mouthing me lol
its amusing, seeing the reactions on someone's face, when they find out you just completely understood what they said about you =P

"oooh... super-gaijin"

yeah, i'll definately get around to finishing it soon, after i get a few things out of the way lol

since my friends pestering me to finish reading it, since i'm clueless when he's talking about events that happen in the manga that i've yet to see.

I reckon I've seen about 40 anime, I assume you mean anime series rather than movies, genre wise I tend to like everything from FMA to Monster, obviously Gintama is the greatest, and probably the only 'pure' comedy series I liked, apart from Dokura-Chan(hahahahahahahha) I usually avoid slice of life and mecha(with the exception of Code Geass(awesome, more psych than mecha) and enjoy action, psychological and historical stuff(Berserk, Death Note, Elfen Lied, Afro Samurai(I class it as anime =P), Gankutsuou, Gantz & Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto). Am currently watching Le Chevalier D'Eon and probably The 12 Kingdoms after that.

Least favourites are Naruto, and I've seen every ep as I'm forced to dl and watch the damn thing coz my nephew loves it(hes 12 LMAO), any .hack series(zZzZz) and basically any anime that doesn't know when to stop(ie Bleach(I only like Kenpachi anyway =P), and I've never got round to watching any One Piece as the length puts me off).

I'm gonna mention 3 movies neway(not counted in my total watched): Princess Mononoke(prob the finest feature anime ever), Ninja Scrolls and the one that started me off on anime(and a lot of my friends) Akira, nuff said.

And now I've thought of all the animes I've watched it prob adds up to 60+, lol, oh well, vote already cast, s**t happens XD

Dunno dude, but it's a hell of a good time for anime and manga if you're under 20. Once you're above that, you'll be bogged down on exams, work and stuff like that. Try enjoying your youth, while it lasts, ok?

Hell im 35 and still watch lots of anime, sumtimes @ work XD - prob time to get a life huh?

@silaas0898, man i can totally relate when you mentioned the 'least favorites' part lol
i dropped both bleach and naruto in the mid episode 60's, and picked up the manga instead (just bleach, dropped naruto the manga too eventually)

though i on the otherhand, enjoy slice-of-life providing theres a kick of comedy (my favorite genre), but try avoiding mecha & specific romance types (usually the plain & boring types) but i am into the psychological ones.

and yeah, like-wise, probably one of the few animes that started me off was, Shin Obake no Q-Taro, Doraemon, Akira, Guyver, Dragon Ball, Ranma... good days... when production quality actually meant something.

i'm probably coming close to the 200's now... not sure if i can be proud about that though... considering how many countless hours was spent watching them, not even including the amount of times i re-watched certain episodes/series...

Yeah, its ok to enjoy manga & anime at work, I've done that too, before I started teaching. I'm only saying that you'll have more free time for the stuff in your younger years.

That probably might be the only casualty that my profession has caused. I only got time to enjoy them when I get home (and not that much too, I didn't expect teaching to be tough, hehe.)

And silas-san, if you're enjoying it even at 35, you're one hell of a cool, middle aged guy. Folks here at my country tend to frown on anyone having these kind of interests, especially if you're already an adult (but who the f*ck cares anyway ^_^x). So its basically depends upon ones perception.

Maybe I'm too stressed out. Luckily we got Gintama.

the way i see it, age doesn't mean squat when it comes down to this stuff, i've got a uncle whose still collecting comic books since he was >12! he's married with kids and all, and has a whole room ENTIRELY for his comics. (all over the floor, walls, every inch of the room. you could get buried underneath and no one would find you for 2 weeks)

hehe thx, i dunno how cool a middle aged guy i am, but ive watched anime for years and dont see any reason to stop watching, and to any1 that says animes for kids i just put the 1st ep of elfen lied on, that kinda shuts em up XD

theres plenty of stuff out there with depth and you can't always tell how they're gonna turn out(unlike 99.99% of american tv and movies).
