My friend recommend me Dir en Grey. I listened to few their songs and just fall in love. My first Diru songs was Filth, Akuro No Oka and Mitsu No Tsuba. That was amazing discovery! Now Dir en Grey is my favorite band .

lol...i think i was looking at some happy flower band (i listen to EVERYTHING xD) then i heard my mother force's footsteps and i clicked on the next total death metal looking vid to 1. avoid the screams of "YOU MUST BE OBSESSED WITH MALES" and 2. to impress her in my own devilish way and 3. because...i was curious. lol so *click*! it was the vid for "the final" and it's my favorite song to date. i think it's a total classic; one of their best yet! (now my mom thinks i might go emostyle...xD)

My cousin gave me mix CDs a few years ago because I was sadly not educated in other, finer forms of music. '[KR] cube' and 'Gyakujoutannou Keloidmilk' were the first songs I heard by them... and there was no going back. XD

I was going through whatever form of video streamloading website there was at the time and I stumbled upon Child Prey. At first I didn't really like it but then I started listening to it more and I started liking it more, but I still didn't like them till they came to play at the wiltern in 06, I was instantly hooked then. My favorite song at the time was Obscure and Bottom of the Death Valley those were the two songs that made me really fall in love with Diru!!!

The first time I heard about Diru was in a magazine... A very small place for them. It didn't impress me at all and after some months I was surfing on youtube for Malice Mizer and after seeing many videos named like : Diru shower; Funny diru etc I decided to see what is all about. The first song I tried to listen to was Hydra...=)) I was shocked hahaha!! At that time I couldn't stand that kind of music and I didn't like them but after a short while I looked for some other Diru songs and then I tried Obscure.... another shock but this time I liked the video and I started to watch the video on mute ...Then I tried Ain't afraid to die and this song made me love them. Slowly I started to be a fan of them and Kyo was amazing me more and more so, in the end, I couldn't "escape" It's been like... 2 years since then and now I can't wait for Glass Skin and Uroboros :X

Errr.. I knew some Swedish girls and one day, one of them had a display picture of Bou (An Cafe).
I was like: what a cute girl! lol. Then I found out HE was a BOY o__O I was immediately interested and watched Escapism on youtube. I loved it because it was so much different from what I had ever seen/heard. That's how I got into Visual Kei.
But since I'm more of a metalish type, An Cafe soon wasn't enough. And I stumbled upon The GazettE's Filth in the Beauty. Waaaaayy better. I had read the name 'Dir en Grey' numerous times in comments, but I was sure I had heard that name before on tv in Belgium (I still haven't found out when though T_T), so I assumed they were this really popular pop band, not what I was looking for. I wasn't even sure they were Japanese!
After seeing that name for the 100th time, I decided to finally check them out. I watched Saku.
AND OMFG I FELL IN LOVE! They were too freaking weird <3 And I love weird stuff x)
That was only 8 months ago, but I hope to stay a fan forever and ever!
