Watched ep. 19 a couple times (mainly joongbo couple) and it looks to be pretty funny. Can't wait for the translation to occur. My thing is this. Sometimes I read the messages/comments people post on the comments for the youtube, allseoulout, etc. and the comments are the same. They all go something like "why doesn't HJ appreciate HB, how come he doesn't care about her, HJ is very cold towards her, HB deserves someone who can return her high spirit or her love", etc. etc. I've even seen where she was in some type of show with another group (Super Nova) and she was doing something with the leader of that group...the comments were "she needs to be doing this with HJ, HJ needs to look at this and maybe he will get jealous and treat her better, she needs to be with the leader from Super Nova rather than SS501 because he would be more friendly with her and he shares her freespirit/HJ too stiff, etc.etc.etc" Does anyone else feel the way these folks feel who are making the comments? I looked at who is posting these type of comments and they don't seem to be the same people. It seems they are different people who feel HJ doesn't do enough for HB or may not really like her at all. Does anyone feel the same way and if so why? Do you all think HJ isn't doing enough for HB? Does it seem it is only one sided with HB doing all the work? I want to know what everyone thinks.

n i do agree that Hj did less than Hwangbo.. n i was a bit dissapointed that Hj always broke his promises n he seemed to be not really excited when he first saw Hb in Japan...
but then .. (after keep repeating ep.18 and 19..^o^ and taking into consideration that shillang doesn't like to show his romantic side).. i find he's trying hard to show that he cares and maybe that's just the way he is...
he also get 'busted' by calling her yoebo... that's the cutest thing everr!!!!!!!! (n by making this statement unconsciously, i assume deep inside he got some feeling for her)
On the second tought.... i seriously think we need to give HJ more time.. before he realized that his buin is a treasure!!! ^^

i think he's doing enough! we can't expect more, they're not like andy/solbie they're totally different people. I don't think HB expects a lot but she appreciates him for who he is....but yeah, i don't see it as one sided anymore since they have so much fun together
i also agree with sandra about giving HJ more time to appreciate HB but he's still a 'young lover' and he needs to get to know her more to know what she likes

Oh you're not the only one who commented about it. Several people have. So I just wondered if I was the only one who noticed the little stuff he has done for her that I've posted in other comments here (i.e. sung song, get medicine when she was sick, make breakfast during honeymoon, etc.) And yes...he subconsiously called her what he called her during ep. 19. I think he may want to show more romantic side but either doesn't know how due to lack of experience or maybe won't because he is too shy. But I keep seeing people write "he needs to show more feeling for her or why doesn't he like her" so I was wondering if I was the only person who thinks he does like her but is showing it very slowly.
Haze1Nut...I think you're right. Hwang Bo seems to be aware of this as she has stated that he is inexperienced (I think she meant in terms of relationships). She is patience with him and is opening him up little by little. To me they are a perfect match because if anyone could open him up, it would be someone like Hwang Bo.

I don't think they were holding hands. His hands were in his pockets the whole time. It looked like her hand was behind him. At most, she was touching his back or something but na, I don't think they were holding hands.

I would have to say that I too have read those comments, but I take into consideration that if you compare them from the beginning to now....they actually have conversations. I do that his attitude is kinda stiff, but I don't think has anything to do with his age. I have a couple of opinions about Joongbo. I think that alot of skinship and stuff is left out of the final edit ( like in the epi where they said bye to each other when he went to work or her drying his hair that was shown in the Come to Play clip..stuff like that) ...Sometimes those fans can be cruel OR it could be to make it look very one sided. I think that Hwang Bo has the perfect attitude to compliment Hyun Joong attitude..silly but sweet. I think that what makes her so attractive to younger guys, she can be serious, but hasn't forgotten how to have silly fun. They are actually talking now, laughing and playing. I don't think that we'll get as much skinship as anyone else (kinda evident in ep 19 when she went to wake him up, she put the blanket on first...my first thought was "because she's afraid touch him") and I really think it's cuz he's an idol. Sad but true, cuz I'm a dreamer too!! lol
I think that in the end we just have to give them time, and see where it goes. I don't think that Hyun Joong is as mushy as most people would like to see, but is caring in other ways. (Like him making everyone come out and thank Hwang bo for the meal..which brought tears to her eys) If you also notice in 18 when the other members are calling her "imo" the look on Hyun Joong face is priceless...she glares, and he's like I didn't say it look, while giggling. Makes me think at least they are friends.

Lol I really want to rant on ep 19 but I stayed up til five or was it four thirty watching the airing of the show and now I'm SUPER tired!
But wow! This was a definite step closer to my joongbo hopes! hehe. Especially the tickling and skinship muahahaha. Loved the recording part too.
Buffyatl, I will post tomorrow about my thoughts on HJ's attitude towards his buin.

Talk-time HJ: Wife Hwang used to be a singer, oh wait I mean she IS a singer. So I thought she would give an extremely sexy feeling to the song.. but she couldn’t really do the ‘sexy feeling’ as well as I thought she would be able to! And so I helped coach her to be able to give off the sexy sounds; at first it was awkward but later she started to do well.
Talk-time PD: Did you like it?
Talk-time HJ: Yeah, I liked it! But, I’m not sure if the Japanese staff will like it. I don’t think it’ll make it on our album, but I kept the file on a CD so I’m happy because I can listen to it whenever I want.
HJ: (in Japanese to the producer) If that won’t work, could you at least let me have the CD?
HB: I better leave..
HJ: Okay. Oh... and even if what you just recorded doesn’t go into our album, I’ll keep it.

Talk-time HB: So the beginning is always great, but when it comes to the end I start to think, ‘I shouldn’t have come to start with’ because I feel bad.
Like, on plane ride back to Korea, I don’t know how to explain it, but kind of like the aftermath, I just regret it. I saw him all day and so the next morning, as soon as I woke up, I thought about him. Even when I was eating I thought about it, like how the group probably will not get to eat properly, and will just eat ramen again. Also, I had thought things like, ‘Is Youngsaeng still sleeping?’ and ‘I wonder if my husband is being woken up by being tickled again.’ or ‘Is he eating ham now?’ and basically I just kept thinking about it all day even though I’m apart from him right now. Even when I was eating alone, I felt bad I was eating alone and without them. |
