Do you think there are things (still) unknown to men?
Yes, of course. New things are being found every day. Hell, heres a recent example:
Feb 28th: http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2007/02/070227-ocean-asia.html

I mean, we still haven't even completely figured out our body, cause of certain emotions, etc. Moreover, there are countless things we do not know looking back into history.

Do you think we still need more? What for?
What is lacking is empathy and action, and of course, if its lacking we need more of it. Countless people are dying from diseases we have the cure to. Empathy also leads to compassion, intellect, self-awareness and usually a better self-esteem. Also, if you act on your feelings of empathy, you'd be helping the world out in countless ways. There are probably millions of people who could save the world, yet a majority prays for one, I just don't get that.

~Sorry - but im lazy to check if the following thread has been posted already.

At last, a decent post finally hit my thread.

I know for myself that i lack the 'love' for more and more reading - which makes me so dull to think of a thing undiscovered. I also lack the capability to understand stock market, exchange rates, investment and the world market - that's why i am really eager (now) to enroll MBA next semester. =)

Needless to say, i really appreciate your post - it's good if not incredible. hehe

First off, thank you ^_^ Well, I can kind of understand because I hate reading. I'm just not that type of learner, I'm definitely more of a listener than a reader and I'd also rather experience events than read about them. Nevertheless, I find ways to learn about the things I want to while working around reading a lot =P Anyway, you really should enroll MBA next semester, don't pass up those opportunities!

Haha, awesome. My friend is going into a culinary arts school, I'm totally learning how to cook well from him.

- Dead old people. That may sound mean but seriously, a lot of problems in today's society stem from the fact that people are living longer.
- People being open-minded.
- People willing to learn.
- People willing to make choices/decisions on their own (this sort of goes with being open-minded).

Next semester will start in June (for my MBA) - so i still have plenty of time to take culinary class. Wow, if only i had a friend who knows how to cook those foods (that i'd like to learn). sighs. Good for you, you have someone to teach you. =)

A. What problems in society result from people living longer? Having nursing homes for them provides more jobs and teaches compassion. Not to mention they buy the most useless crap that helps keep our economy running. ^_^

B. C. D. - I can understand those. ^^

I think your first statement contradicts your second statement.
