During weekdays I sleep for 4 to 5 hours but on weekends I sleep like 12

School really cramps my beauty sleep

oh ya! another importance for sleeping enough... it reduces the pop out of pimples!!

**remember the days when i was doing all my projects overnight without sleeping... the next morning was a nightmare!!! o.O**

it makes me all energized afterwards hahaha.

yeh, i wish i was that guy who didn't need sleep coz he wouldn't get tired. So he'd be working like 24/7 getting heaps of cash.!

of course that story still doesn't sound that believable...

Sleep deprivation has been used as a torture method for thousands of years. As other people said we need it, it is there for a reason, probably one which we don't completely understand. I get about 6 hours sleep each night. It would be good to need less, but it just doesn't work like that. When I had my first baby, I was only getting something like 3 or 4 hours interrupted sleep a night. I managed and survived, but I don't recommend it to anyone (the sleep reduction, not the baby).

i sleep for around 5-6 hours a day. usually go 2 sleep at 2am and get up at 7am. but occasionally i get my catch-up sleep, which is I come home from school...and sleep till the next morning. then the routines starts all over again... -____-
and if people dare wake me up when i really want my sleep...like at music camp, my teacher tried to rip the blankets off me...i kicked her... i get highly agitated and get really pissed off. So i like to sleep in the morning but not at night... i am slowly turning nocturnal...

Heh yeah I'm becoming more and more nocturnal. I used to believe sleep was overrated, back in 8th grade when it was cool to stay up late because no one needed to. But this is how my schedule usually went year after year:

8th grade: sleep at 2 a.m.
9th grade: sleep at 2 a.m.
10th grade: sleep at 4 a.m.
11th grade: sleep at 6 a.m.
12th grade: sleep at 8 a.m.

Increases of 2 hours every year? Not fun. Sleep deprivation means I function way less than I could, which sucks because I need good grades, darnit. And then it becomes a never-ending cycle. I stay up late to study to get the good grades, but then I can't function on tests because of the lack of sleep... My point is, if you decrease sleep hours, it's all well and good to "brag" about it, but don't do it. Because there's a reason why people sleep.

I love sleeping!!! but I only sleep for 3-7 hours a day (it depends on if I sleep in the afternoon or not) and at the weekend it must be 7-10hours ( I CAN't sleep any longer )
If you sleep less than 3 hours some mindcells get destroyed ( same with alcohol)... the best for the body is to sleep 5-8 hours, something around this time.. I don't exactly know

I like sleep. I need to get at least 7 hours or I feel like crap throughout the day. If I get more than 10 I end up getting a headache as well.

The funny thing is I haven't slept yet. I stood up all night and I am posting in this thread. Would I get rid of sleep? I am not too sure. The reason is dreams can be interesting and can sometimes be an escape from reality.

I love to sleep. I can sleep anywhere, anytime, but mostly I just like being bundled up into big comfy blankets, surrouned by fluffy pillows and dreaming. Naps are good too. When I can i take an afternoon nap. Weird... I never liked sleep so much until I entered University. xD I do stay up late a lot though when I can... I like making the most of my nights.
