*Face palm* I'm not even gonna try explaining for the 1000000th time that the current trend of faggotry (which I thought was dying) is not what Emo really is. People love jumping on bandwagons about something they don't know, be it supporting something or making fun of it. Besides, what's with the sudden emergence of Emo threads? Previously we had race and sex threads, now this?

I don't believe that ALL people just copy each other so they can be labeled "emo". I'm in highschool, so theres a lot of drama, breakups, rumors, peer pressure, and all of that. I see it all the time, you become depressed. I don't think people become depressed just to follow some "fad", but fashion-wise, THAT, I agree. So anyway, my point, you can't control your emotions.

Calling people "emo" is just bullying them.I bet half the people labled like that NEVER slit their wrists before. But because they like to dress one way or they're naturally ultra pale or they aren't always very shiny people just apread that that person is dperessed which may eventually lead to the person making the rumors come true.
You know what I do to the people that call me emo?
I walk to them with my arms out and say "Where did I cut myself?I obviously don't kniw but you do.Can you tell me?"
Sorry,it just pisses me off when people do that.

you may be right about this part...but what about those people who call/label themselves emo? Should we call them masochists cause they bully themselves?

You've got a point. I think they just don't know what to think. No matter what's going on all of this is based on the media's dense need to label everything with a heartbeat and some things without.

i think its getting to the point where like anything that sounds or looks depressing is emo....along the lines we've essentially lost the meaning of emo....so i think that you should be who you are and ignore labels....

but i agree some kids go wayyyyyy too far with the emo thing

Emo's need to be exterminated on the internet and in real life, we need a new Emo oriented killing Hitler who is trying to take over Green Day concerts.

They feel sorry for themselves and then they go on the internet and complain.

Not all emos are 'emos' it's also a kind of dress style I believe...it doesn't mean they are full-on suicidals...

but for those who are...maybe if society just ignored them and stop replying to their internet posts they will eventually...just stop...complaining. So next time you see a complaining, whining, emoish post...don't quote it

"emos" are people too so I don't really care. The fact is that every one of us can be pigeon holed into some category so we'd might as well continue life and try to make ourselves happy.

Be sure that when you see a person comments like this, especially a female, be sure to post STFU. So they way they feel like you care.

ok this whole post is all screwed up. first of all being emo ins,t a bad thing like people are saying it to be.i mean im emo but i dont freakin spread it out like peanut butter on bread.plus if an emo person is emo in real life that doesn,t mean well to me they have to be the same way online. i mean when your online you can be who ever you want.for instence, im not gonna lie to you im a really crude person in real life, but only to those that dont understand me or try to change me. to me a person can change on there own or if they choose to want others to change them.oh in another thing, i dont think not one person here knows why people turn emo. this is because most people are to jughmental.plus if any one actually did new then you wouldn,t be saying these type of things. well if your actually intelligent in understanding.

To me the people that go on the internet in chat reflact the real them, in not something you see in actual life.

ok just because someones emo doesn,t mean they dont feel.im emo for reason none of you could ever comprehand.for those that are emo:if your emo then you dont have to broad cast it,to me those who broad cast that there emo are most likely possers. If a person was truely emo you only would tell a person if they,d asked you.dont get me wrong if your emo in you feel like expressing yourself then you can do that but to a sertin extent.

im sorry but those that dont know an ounce of why people become emo or what there going threw should stick a pinecone in there mouths in bit down hard.

Hmph, SO predictable...I was counting how long it would take for someone to quote me like that.

"So they way they feel like you care" ?? Is that English?
