I heard something similar to this once but i just presumed it was an internet hoax. It's real?! Thats such a great idea! ^-^ i have to teach my computer to let me download things!
This has probably been mentioned before in technical terms but in normal language; does it affect the speed or anything of your computer? If it works when the computer is idle then it shouldn't cause any problems when i'm using it right?

Well done for everyone who has joined! ^-^

Its not a resource hog but it progresses slowly in my experience. And yeah mauz, it doesn't seem like there's any Vista version that I can find.

That really depends on your computer.
But I think the program checks your system and adjusts its settings so you don't lose any speed.
There is also an option for activating it only as a screensaver.

Edit: I don't think it's slow cbisram, I think testing processes to attach ligands, working with proteins, etc takes time.

I'm skeptical about this, but seems worth it so I'll try it on my better computer.

One thing I would like to point out is that by 2030 computation will be around 3000x faster then now. Just time and progress will help them a hell of a lot more then I can.

Not sure how to help you then. I can only suggest checking out the forums and asking for help, the forum is small and I have gotten useful advice before, so someone should be able to help you out in detail http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/index

For the sake of reviving this important thread, is there a way to specify what project you want the program to focus on?

I haven't downloaded it yet so this may be a stupid question and I don't think I've seen anything mentioning it yet...
